Zahi Hawass, Egypt's Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs,

Do we have to hear from this guy all the time? I was hoping he was one of Mubarak's minions and would leave with him.

I have been to Egypt twice and it IS amazing but I won't be taking my family anytime soon. I never felt threatened in the 90’s but, now? No thanks!

That just doesn’t look like a hieroglyph to me, at all. Are they sure? It looks like a spill of something.

The cool part is that the Teflon coating does not allow mummy curses do not stick to robots....

It is important to recall that when the sealed Great Pyramid was first opened by work gangs employed by the caliph, absolutely nothing was found in the then accessable parts of the pyramid including the King’s Chamber.

The caliph was hugely dissapointed and angered at being deprived of the loot he was denied.

So when you read that Egyptologists speculate about what was or was not in the pyramid they are lying to build up their prestige and gain more grant monies. * ref paragraph 10 in the story.

The whole bit about the pyramid being a tomb was started by Herodotus and taken as truth ever since. Whatever the Great Pyramid is, it is not a tomb.

my 2 cents
