Useless chaperons.Are they being punished?
What movie were they watching? Deep Throat?................
Something about Bill Clinton, I think. Or maybe Monica.
This is so over the top on so many levels to almost defy a response. That said, 8th graders having sex on a bus? That for starters. Killing the messenger and then posting the name of the student’s family in the news too. WOW. Schools need be abolished and everyone needs to home school.

What BS story.......She is being punished for not immediately telling the chaperons. I am so sick of these Bull craps article titles. They are always so false and exaggerated.
And the eight “chaperones” at the front of the bus don’t get a talking to for not paying attention to what was going on in the bus?? Really??? I mean, REALLY???
Let’s get the names of the chaperones and publish them here.

Why should the chaperones be punished?
They didn’t do anything. :)
How Orwellian. If you see wrong-doing, you have to report it immediately or you will get punished. What about the other kids on the bus who probably saw the sex but said nothing? Will they all get punished? The totalitarian state lives.
The girl handled the situation appropriately. If the chaperones didn’t care enough to do their jobs, it wasn’t her duty to sacrifice herself.
If I were the mom, I’d have that school’s administration by the short hairs for revealing my daughter’s name in conjunction with this incident.
The schools these days have such terrible double standards. If a child does something seriously wrong, they’ll form a bond with the student and refuse to tell parents about their ‘confidential’ communications.
Then they’ll burn a kid on a moment’s notice for doing the right thing.
I have such contempt for our nation’s school officials.
When I coached football and we went to an away game, the cheer leaders would ride on the bus with us. I put the girls in the front of the bus, had coaches sit between the players and the girls and a couple of coaches in the back of the bus. You just can’t trust those cheer leaders you know.
Once upon a time, I chaperoned a 7th grade trip, a weekend trip to a science center. One of the girls upon arriving home told her father she was raped on the bus. The so called rapist was sitting in the front of the bus, the girl in the back. The boy never went to the back of the bus. The bus trip was in broad daylight and there was no movie to distract the chaperones.
When taken to the hospital it was discovered that the girl was already very pregnant by another boy but made up the rape story to deflect blame for her own and that boy’s behavior.
So much for sex ed.
According to the chaparones, “If the bus is a-rockin’, then don’t come a-knockin’.”
Sue the school, the “chaparones”, the school district and any Liberals who live in the district - after all, such behavior is the fruit of the poison tree of Liberalism.
Or the members of the band ... and I should know. I was in the band for all of my high school years (as well as college).
“The students who reportedly had sex are being punished as well, ...”
Apparently for not waiting until they got to the hotel.
