"We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!" President Bush
The big news of the day is the death and burial at sea of Osama bin Laden. Thank you, President Bush and the US military (including my son and future son-in-law) who made this day happen. Other news is the nuptials of William and Catherine in Great Britain. May God bless their union and draw them close to Him in Jesus Christ. Alabama (my state) and other southeast states continue the task of digging out and rebuilding. A massive effort is underway with able bodies and supplies needed.
Precisely.
A late good morning to all from Hoosier land. It is very foggy here today.
Happy Mom’s Day to all the Mothers.
I am blessed to have a wonderful family and had great parents too. All my children sent Mom’s Day cards, love them all, like I said before, I am so blessed.
Jemain, thank you for giving us back the ATRW.....I missed it so much. It is so nice to read about all the ATRW crew that I followed as a lurker for years.
You are welcome. I missed the interchange with people like you who are a part of our fellowship.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Your posts are absolutely LOL amusing to me. I know you have had a tough time of it the last year and even before that, but your continuing sense of humor and ability to express it in writing is a blessing to the rest of us.
Thanks John!!
Mary
Happy Mother’s Day, Jemian, and to all the Mothers who grace this thread.
Because though osama still has his 72 virgins, obama has used only 20 of his 72 versions of the capture.
Happy Mothers Day, everybody!
just for the record, I hate traveling!
Hi there, Mike.
Have you seen this heading in the News Articles?
“Obama: I Was ‘As Active in Planning OBL Mission As Any Other Project During My Presidency’”
I can hardly type for laughing!
I missed it, but that is sure funny. Not that he was really doing any work, but that his level of [in]activity was just the same. Har!
I hate to travel and my back hates it even more.
Even so, I am in Orlando at the Wycliffe Center here. On Thursday evening there is an outing planned to Gator Wild or something like that. They have snakes and alligators there. I am trying to come up with reasons as to just why going to this place should be done. I’ve already thought of fun and fellowship - negligible. I will have spent Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and all business hours of Thursday will the same people. To see wild exotic animals? Um, they live in my yard! They may be wild but they’re not exotic to me. So.... hmmmm.
Good Monday morning! It is bright and sunny here in Florida.
Toby! We’re here and waiting for you.
Good Morning! I have a couple of bonus days at home due to a stalemate in the budget negotiations. I will use the day to continue my garden clean up.
Corn Planting is completed here on our farm. They move to Soybeans today.
I have lost the ‘code’ necessary to post pictures. Can someone please help.. ?
<img src=place the url of the picture here>
You can just highlight and copy the code being sure to replace the italicized portion with the specific url.
tks
We passed a bunch of corn yesterday; I’m thinking it is about two or three feet tall here. Also, there’s some wheat that appears to be ready for harvesting. It was yellow and gracefully hanging over.
I confess, when the stalks are short, I have trouble distinguishing sorghum and corn.
opps!
