Ok, I’ve got nothing. I’ve never been in a maternity ward (not even when I was born) and I’m reduced to guessing how they operate.
Any 10 year old who claims to know more about hospitals than I do would probably be right, but I would have a hard time believing that preplanned births — as opposed to, say, a C section done due to an accident in ER — would take place in 2 different sections of the hospital.
I n the last 15 or so years, I do know some births are done in the patient’s room in some hospitals. So, you may be entirely correct.
