The following two web pages address the pre-flood system and nature of the flood, as well as the question of who else (aside from Noah) might have made any sort of a major effort to leave prior to the cosmic **** storm's arrival.
The Nature of the Pre-Flood System, and the Origin of the Flood Waters
UFOs, Space Aliens, Ancient Astronauts and the Like
As to the Bible version of the flood, the story of the flood itself is true; the idea that God or anybody in the spirit realm might have wiped the entire system like that over any sort of a conduct problem is certainly an embellishment.
UFO, Space Aliens? LOL, you are out-doing yourself Ted.
fyi
Try reading the thing first and then comment...
OK, I read it. Until now, I thought I had seen everything.
Turns out..perhaps everything we know is wrong.
Notice that nothing in any of this offers any hope for evolution or evolutionists. All it means is that the prehistory of our system is a bit more complex than you might think if your only data point was the Bible. Jesus of course was talking about conduct and relationships and not about ancient history or cosmology; his teachings are still perfectly valid.
It was interesting reading about Apollo 20.
"Oh well, ho hum, been there, done that, now it's time to get back to more meaningful things such as perfecting our wellfare state..."
That seem believable to you? Or could it be that whatever they found up there messed their minds so badly that the whole thing became a black op at that point and was never in the news again?
THE AGENDA
teehee
I heard we were told to stay the heck off the moon.
What I find interesting is that there were no rainbows before the flood, that might be a greater indicator of what transpired.
EPA mighta had something to do with it...
That seem believable to you?
From what I've seen of the politicians and the electorate that elects them in this country since then, I give that a whole-hearted "Yup!"
The Bible says it never rained before the flood and it’s obvious from the language of Genesis that survivors viewed the rainbow as seriously strange and new.
Right, exactly, so I think a tidal pull isn’t exactly the answer, since water would have just rushed in rather than a build up through the rain from the heavens, or maybe a tidal pull would act weirdly (”slap around” like a rubberband after being released?). Just thinking.
Maybe the aliens brought the water in plastic jugs. aliens coming across the border carry water in jugs so that proves the theory true, right?
And there simply is no other explanation and no reputable scientist would disagree so IT MUST BE TRUE!!!
I read all the way through the first link, and there several problems. First, plenty of ancient religions concurrent with the Greco-Roman did worship the sun and moon, such as the Egyptians, Persians, Native Americans, and more. They did not worship Jupiter and Saturn.
Second, planets would not orbit the star in a perfect line like a shish kabob. Orbital speeds will vary, or else the objects will either move out or inward in a very short amount of time, breaking up the system until a stable configuration is reached (such as exists today).
Third, there are plenty of valid explanations for how a planet can lose an ocean, ESPECIALLY if a few billion years are involved. Dismissing these without refutation is particularly glaring, as it is this “earth sucked away Mars’ oceans” silliness upon which the article’s central thesis is based.
So, imaginative, yes, but not even close on the explanation front. If you want a far out explanation for the pre-flood/post flood nature system, pre-flood we were on a world ship with automated climate-control systems. God told us there was trouble ahead and to get into the colony landing craft with our livestock. Next thing we know we’re splashed down on Earth’s oceans. We hit dry land a few months later, and the rest is history.
You were there I take it??
Plato and other Greek authors consistently refer to antediluvians as "Children of Kronos" or "Nurselings of Kronos[Saturn]. We still call the sabbath 'Saturn's Day'. The most major holiday in ancient Rome was "Saturnalia"...
Hesiod, Ovid, and other authors refer to a 'golden age' when Saturn/Kronos was "the king of heaven", followed by the flood and then a silver age when Jupiter was "king of heaven", followed by the Trojan war and then the modern (iron) age. Our sun is obviously the "king of heaven" now.
Other than that, Ra was definitely Saturn and not the present sun, Shamesh was Saturn, and a number of Med-basin names such as Helios werre found to have been switched from Saturn to the sun at some definite point in time.
interesting theory about our solar system. I’m having a hard time believing the space ship on the moon thing though. The space race never would’ve slacked off if it was true.
I didn’t quote go so far as to say I believe that one. I’d rate it as about a 75% shot, i.e. somebody would have to prove to me that it was fake. Again it’s possible that Moon exploration never stopped, and that we simply don’t read about it.
