I was looking for the "vanity" thing but could not find it. I hope I did not do anything wrong for Fr to post in this section.
The first 3 words of Rush show today were for Sarah "Fight like a girl" - so I was very excited to hear what Rush had to say about that beautiful teaparty and Sarah speech in Madison Wisconsin. I think that was so important for the symbolism of it - unions and stuff - courageous of her to go there - and I also think that Sarah was great and her speech surely deserved a good 10 minutes from Rush.
Well..I waited and waited through a long hour of so annoying tax stuff, a good 15 minutes about Trump...sick of it really..and then an almost full hour about global warming..and then around 2.30 I emailed Rush show and said that I will revoke my subscription if I don't hear about Sarah's speech in Madison at least for 10 minutes before the end of the show. Well, I did not expect them to be scared..ah..
And then, nothing at all about Sarah in Madison.
So I cancelled. I am not sure where Rush is going but frankly I find him very boring lately. Excusing the pitiful Gop after they caved on budget. Bizarre. Is he becoming a RINO? Something's up with Rush.
Sorry guys.
Your thoughts?
YEAH! I have a list of complaints myself and I’d like to include AD246 in the discussion when I get around to writin’ ‘em all down, ok?
I can’t do without Rush.
Buzz, that’s the second time in a week I have totally agreed with you................jeez!
Been there done that............twice.
great word. I had to look it up. LOL No matter if the world is going to hell , I learned a new word today.
I missed...
“Newt is Great”
“Football”
“Golf”
no thanks
I couldn’t have slept tonight wondering how you felt about this. Thanks.
Oh, that's not a tough one to sort out. Sarah is taking a dig at Obama by flipping a traditional view of women on its head. It works, because "girls" like Palin have recently begun taking the lead in some of our side's toughest battles.
I totally got the irony of the comment.
Rush can’t sit there and cheer-lead for Sarah. He mentioned her speech by quoting “fight like a Girl.” Rush likes Palin, but he is doing his job and letting her earn her respect.
If you really like Palin don’t go overboard and become psychotic, breath. By the way sometimes it is a good thing to turn off the radio and the computer.
We gave up Rush years many ago, when he babbled more about himself and the NFL, than this violent lawless invasion from Mexico.
We gave up Rush many years ago too....lol
Sweet use of a rarely heard word. Thanks.
It’s been longer than 11 years since he’s praised Newt and Newt was great until he became Speaker.
Thank god he did that when I was too young to be listening to him. I still think he talks about technology a little too much. The golf and football don’t bother me because I love golf and football.
Same thing happend to Ann Coulter on FR. It's disgusting. But you have to remember it's mostly the work of paid government and Rat shills. Hell, the administration even bragged about creating military shills for the Net, and creating "force multiplying" programs to manifest dozens of on line personas controlled by one shill. Free Republic is stuffed with them.
They're not hard to spot, if you start noting tactics. They're like all government workers, they have their rules and they follow them, and those rules form patterns that stand out.
Nevetheless, it's a pain - as it's supposed to be. And all the traitorous "operators" care about is a steady paycheck and guaranteed pension, even if they have to destroy their own country to get it. What can you say to that level of moral degredation?
Apparently you’ve never seen two girls fight, particularly girls in their early teens. They’re brutal. Much moreso than boys. My parents both taught middle school and said breaking up fights between girls was almost always more difficult than fights between boys even if the boys are much bigger.
Don’t compare Rush and Ann. Rush has done far more for conservatives and for a longer time than Ann Coulter. I’ve been done with her since she started showing blatant contempt for the “birthers.”
No, it has to do with what you THINK you can mind-read in Palin supporters, but here's news for you: you can no more read their minds than they can read yours.
I think Palin is far and away the best potential candidate on the horizon in many ways. I think she's a gift, and it's obvious she's a leader.
I know a lot of people view Palin the way I do, and I know very few if any think of her as a messiah. You seem to think that liking Palin is necessarily the same as thinking she's a messiah.
It's not.
However, accusing those hopeful that Palin will step up to the plate because they have concluded she's the best thing the GOP has going for it, that they regard her as a messiah, IS necessarily the same as deliberately insulting those people.
I can't read your mind, but that you assume this on the part of Palin fans tells more about your own mindset than it does about Palin or her supporters.
And frankly, it demeans you, the same as it would demean me if I accused you of being Palin "haters" just because you don't agree with me about her.
I don't think you hate her. I just think you're missing the forest for the trees.
Before Nov. 9 of last year, I'd have rolled my eyes at that statement. Since then, I have been disillusioned and know that you are correct. FR has plenty of them, and once you start to place the shill with the screenname over time, it's interesting to see where they stand on various issues and candidates.
Where would the Conservative movement be without him?
