Having watched approximately a trillion TV shows in my life, please, no more:
Lions eating zebras
Insects of the Amazon
Crocodiles eating anything
Black holes
Guys logging trees
Guys wasting their lives playing gold miner in Alaska
Guys fishing for crab
Guys fishing for swordfish
Guys who train dogs
Guys who pretend to survive in the wilderness with their film crew and make-up artist
Wolves eating buffalos
Wolves eating elk
Wolves eating other wolves. Enough. I get it. They're hungry!
NCIS LA, NCIS Terre Haute, NCIS Mars...you get the picture.
Any of the 3 billion Law and Order programs still out their in reruns
Any program appearing on MSNBC ever!
Sharks eating anything and anyone
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Charmed (Man does that show blow!)
College Lacross
High school anything
Dharma and Gregg
The New Adventures of some hag called old Christine
Guys restoring another junker
Guys pawning junk
Homo Dougie Hauser playing a hetero love stud
Ok, I've got a million more they should never allow on TV again, but I'm sure you've either fallen asleep reading this or are currently screaming at your monitor...NO MORE VANITIES! I'm done ranting. Feel free to add any others you particularly can't stand to watch.
I cancelled my television over a year and a half ago. I watch movies on netflix if I feel like plopping.
Hey doc, look at this.
Is this toe fungus?
billy bob smith, the multimillionaire preacher who shouts DON’T MAKE ME HOLLER, DON’T MAKE ME SHOUT, JUST TURN THEM POCKETS INSIDE OUT and I like quiet, folding money, not those darned clanking coins!!!!
I don’t own a TV.
TV sucks out your brain and turns you into placid, docile livestock.
I love TV. TV is the central focal point of my house. The TV is like a shrine. My family watches as much TV as possible and we can even watch while we eat dinner. There are TVs in the bedrooms. Our lives revolve around TV. We get hundreds of channels, so there is always something to watch.
TV lovers (( ping )).
Not to mention all the nature programs obsessed with animal sexual habits. Real housewives of anywhere and Hollywood stars lives.
For a short time there was a cable station that played the old westerns I loved as kid. My favorite was the Rifleman and this station carried the show. It was so nice to watch these moral stories unfold about a boy and his father. The station disappeared not too long ago, and now there is nothing but dull “reality” type shows that you have already enumerated.
Want to watch a great comedy series?
Corner Gas (Canadian TV)
Was on for 6 years - all the episodes are on youtube.
Good stuff

(someone here posted a thread about this show and I’m officially hooked!)
You don’t like Hoarders? That show has had the best influence on me. I have cleaned out closets and cabinets and drawers. It has worked wonders on my house. I decided I did NOT want to be thought of as a hoarder if I should pass suddenly.
I ditched the TV long ago.
Continue to gaze at the flickering light, at your peril.
FWIW, iTunes has some pretty cool shows and I’ve gotten kind of addicted to it. No commercials and watch them whenever I want. They’ve got the original Star Trek with the REAL Captain (William Shatner) in best of collections for 99¢ each, remastered. I also found the old 1961 Boris Karloff show, “Thriller” on there, which I hadn’t seen since it originally aired. If I could ween my family off cable, you could build a heck of a collection for what cable costs. Throw in Netflix and Hulu, and with the internet, you’ve got everything you could ever want for entertainment.

Does your television not have a POWER switch? Geez.
It sound like you need more channels. Have you tried any of the cooking channels? I would guess with all the channels out there you could find A Richard Simmons exercise show translated into Japanese.
