A flock of ten flamingoes have met a brutal end at a zoo in Eskilstuna in eastern Sweden after a curious anteater broke into their compound and clawed them to death, leaving a further five birds nursing injuries.

O hai. We went to church, then we had supper. Nice evening, 82 with a pleasant breeze.
Tom and I were making soup before church, when we heard the crash of Jake coming through the screen door. “Oh Expletive!” says Tom, “He’s got a bird in his mouth!” DP retrieved the bird, but I don’t think it was going to live.

Nice pangolin. We have armadillo here; got one living under the porch whom the cat keeps company. I understand that armadillo are the only animal other than humans that can harbor the virus that causes leprosy.
