First season of Idol where I did not cast a single vote until tonight. Voted about 50X for Scotty. Lauren is good but not as mature an artist as Scotty and who in the heck is dressing her?? I still don’t think she has found herself.
Vote for the worst is voting for Scotty. Every little bit helps I guess. :)

I sneaked and watched the show — hope my big kids don’t mind. I’ve been voting my fingers off for Mister Scotty, even though tonight Lauren really sang her socks off. I’m impressed, with a busted vocal cord? She is amazing. But I believe that Scotty deserves to win for his whole season’s body of work.
I cannot believe they rounded up Haley. That is not so fair. They let Casey miss a show. They could have shown Lauren at rehearsal, no?
Thanks! I also didn’t hear much difference in her voice. Maybe a little strain but she made her voice do a lot of cool stuff nevertheless. A trouper!!

Scotty will almost certainly win. I'll be happy for him.
But he might have been the worst singer on the show this year. His body of work pales in comparison to every other singer who made it into the Top 11, including Stefano Langone and Paul McDonald.
Morons, preteen girls and musical illiterates make up the voting bloc for this show. They chose Cook over Archuleta, Allen over Lambert, Studdard over Aiken, Hicks over McPhee and DeWyze over Bowersox.
America loves mediocrity. My bet is we'll see it again when Wednesday's results are announced.
