That’s an excellent way of putting it.
JAMES!
” Mindis not gettin any recognition either but Im sure shes making a lot of dough.”
You don’t pay the bills, or buy the things you want with
recognition.
Thanks for the response, and I too thought they were wearing wigs. In any case they sound good.
See you are a James fan. Agree he’s got the presence, and capability to handle many songs. Would have liked to hear him do the whole Carole King song “ a cappella “.
Maybe he will do that song as the show progresses.
WE have POWER!!! :) Have gone 4 and 1/2 days without, and missed your wonderful thread, however we were blessed in that we didn’t lose anything else. We have been several days to different communities to try and help where we could and the devastation is unreal. So heartbreaking to see toys, books and personal belongings just lying in the middle of debris. Some areas have been closed off so that the police dept. and cadaver dogs can go through the rubble. Please keep all of these that have lost so much in your prayers. God bless you all!
Casey went home over Haley? Hmm...kinda glad I didn’t get to watch then.
(((EG))) Welcome back!! :)
Casey deserved to go home. Haley out song him last week. Casey just “growled talked” the whole time. I blame the judges for not being critical of that in previous weeks.
James and Lauren are my favorites but Lauren’s got a little stagefright thing that even the pros have to get over. James is fearless and talented. Next week gosh, the mentor escapes me. JLo is dancing and singing next week. Well, dancing... lol (her songs are usually one or two notes and lyrics). She’s got a new song that Lady Gaga tossed aside.
I just started voting 2 wks ago but I wasn't for Pia but now she's starting to defrost which is a good thing.

Agree with your favorites and assessments.
Will be nice , as I understand it ,that we will hear 2 songs from each contestant.
Two songs and a results show opener. Works for me.

Steven Tyler has made waves on this season of American Idol, and he will continue to do this month. It was announced on Tuesday that the singer has plans to debut his first ever solo single on the Fox reality series later this month. The single will hit the radio on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on May 9, and then it will premiere on the results show to air May 12. Not only that, but Steven Tyler has managed to talk his band, Aerosmith, to perform on the Idol finale later this month. He hinted at the possibility earlier in the season.
According to TV Guide, the single is titled It Feels So Good, and it will be the music video for the song that will premiere on the episode. Jennifer Lopez did the same earlier this season with one of the music releases off her latest album. However, Steven has not released a solo song before. All his music has been released with Aerosmith. There was some tension between him and the band when he took on the judge role at American Idol, but he didn’t let that tension stop him from taking the job at Fox.
He said the following about the appearance of the band on Idol: “We’re playing the last show of the season. It was always my intention, always, to get Aerosmith on the show. I mean, Joe [Perry]’s done it. I’m ready for it. I would love to play with Aerosmith.” The fact that the rest of the band has set aside their issues and decided to perform on the finale for Idol is interesting to see. Joe Perry had even threatened Tyler with the possibility of the band continuing on without him, but it looks like that hasn’t happened. Aerosmith has been in the business a long time, and once Steven Tyler is done playing judge on Idol, he will more than likely return to the band. Right now, he is trying on the solo act on for size, but he is and will always be a band front man.
If you have not seen the movie, “Catfish”, you must rent it ASAP. There is controversy on if it is real or not, but regardless, it’s entertaining regardless and a message everyone who spends a lot of time on the internet should keep in mind.
Hurry up and get here! I already have my black face paint on, and Im doing a low crawl toward the TV!!! ;-)
I came in early, can’t handle anymore of Shep
