Hi, How I voted Wednesday night: 1. James (awesome vocal talents)
2. Casey Man Bear (creative presentation)
3. Lauren (not her best night but she has major potential. If they'd stop coaching her about confidence, that's a buzz kill cuz if you make someone feel they aren't confident, they won't be. Maybe they're psyops on Lauren in the coaching. I hope not.).
Haley did great too but I can't abandon Lauren.

LOCAL COLOR ALERT: That's Mindi Abair of Clearwater, FL who's been playing the sax for AI. She's started in the Clearwater High School marching band and has a really lucrative career now. She's pullin' in dollars and has plenty of work. Let's hear it for Florida's Mindi Abair!
It looks like Mindi is in the AI band cuz they sure don't give her any props at all. I bet the pay's very good though.

They were beginning to critique last night. It's about time. Whomever said that Scotty needs to stay on notes instead of falling off of them was absolutely right. I haven't voted for Scotty cuz if he wants to do country, he must have crossover appeal. Top 40 can handle ao occasional twang or scoop but Scotty's got to use his more gingerly imho.
Pia's doing much better since Mark Ballas from DWTS taught her stage presence and about smiling, etc. The statue named Pia is becoming human.

The blonde sax player’s from my hometown. Mindi Abair. She’s makin’ big bucks on AI and they don’t even mention her name. House band never gets recognition. Mindi sings, plays a bunch of instruments and also keyboards.

The really old song was done by Cab Calloway. Casey took Carole King's Heidi Hi, Heidi Ho and fused it into the really old song.
I'm thinkin' Carole King kind of borrowed from Cab to begin with. Copyright violation! lol

The rules on The Voice is trying to get viewers to watch an entire episode. My attention span wanders while the “stars” yak and yak and yak. Ceelo has a great voice. I liked when the opened the first show but my attention span made me change channels after that.

The trouble with gay/lesbian contestants is that when they're "winning" it's in spite of their gayness. When they get sent home, it's because of their gayness. Why can't they get over themselves without having to hold the rainbow banner so high and just sing???
Are they individuals or franchisees of the gay/lesbian movement?

James killed it.
Casey mailed it in. Talked the whole time, no singing. Great entertainer but this is singing competition. Damn it judges, tell them that!
Hailey - it was different. Kinda liked it.
Lauren - she may not win it but will be a huge star. I still like her.
Jacob - didn’t watch. Grosses me out.
Scotty - not that good. Even sucked in the duet with Lauren.
