I would think that these mentor types have their ears open for new talent all the time.
What was interesting is that once he turned around and recognized her, he didn’t say he wished he’d known! lol
LOL! Hi, Shelayne! :-D
I think this Voice show is kind of cute. I like to see the judges’ faces once they get their first look at the singer.
LMAO! Maggie!!! Spot-on picture :)
I don't think so but then my memory is not what it used to be! I still have my Tapestry piano book...unfortunately got rid of all my albums years ago.
“Actually, Barry was in NY today tying up our traffic. He’s got important fundraisers, you know.”
A pox on him and his birth certificate!
Elwood: So often that you won't even notice it.
Same can be said of Randy's comments.
If James is bounced tomorrow night, that will be the reason for it. Atlanta is the 9th largest media market in the country, and NO ONE saw it there!
Call AI and tell them, if you know how.
“He’s dressed like a gay Farakhan bodyguard.”
Rofl!!
I watched the voice too! Tell me you were not screaming at the judges Not to turn around for the bald chicks!! Too many weird lesbians. But it is an interesting concept. We will keep watching.
“Michael Buble meets Wolfman”
Rofl!!
No kidding. Dykes with Mikes
My review of tonight’s show:
Jacob - going in the Pack Your Bags spot not good for him. He picked a weird song. He did what they said and went back to “leaving it all on the stage.”. I still appreciate his voice but this may be his week to go home.
Lauren - her hair is too flattened and stiff. She sang wonderfully. I think she will make #3.
Haley and Casey - this was the song I picked for Haley and she did a great job of it. Casey complements her. They do sound and act good together.
Scotty - Loved it. Stood up and gave him a standing o. He really changed it up, and was tender and original with this classic song. He gave the judges exactly what they asked for, stepping out of his comfort zone. And he nailed it.
James - another standing o! Absolutely flawless and I believe he did a lot of the melody changes and arrangement himself. He is an artist and deserves to win this show. Though possibly scotty might win if he has more fans. He is entertaining and he connects with his songs like no one else.
Lauren and Scotty - their worst duet. Lauren was very good, but Scotty missed some of his notes in the harmonizing. Also, he was a little too emphatic how they were only brother and sister and that kind of Donny and Marie’d the whole song.
Haley - ut-ter-ly for-get-a-ble, as Simon would say. She performs, but it’s all so fake. I’m just not feeling her. She is boring. Bottom two with Jacob.
James and Jacob - what an unlikely pair! Both good singers but the only good part was james’s fake fighting at the end.
I grew up on Carole king so I enjoyed this low key week. Next week the top 5, wow!
LOL! That is a good point. Sort of neutered it.
I think Casey might haved strayed too far from the pop roots of the show, and the demographic it appeals to..(female teens and tweens..those who vote MULTIPLE times) I think he's in the bottom 3). The third stoll will be a female, and I think the other surprise tonite is that it's Lauren, and not Haley..
Morning, Didi :)
