A housefire is such a big loss..so many memories and keepsakes.
Praying for rain for you all.

I’m listening to the local news, and they are listing fire
after fire in the general area. I keep hearing sirens from
the local firefighters as they get called out over and over.
There is a fire station about 3/4 of a mile away from me.
I am ready for nice slow moving gentle rain that soaks the ground..nothing severe..but I’ll take any drop of rain we get right now!
I will be glad, too, when tornado season is over.
Thanks....I am safe. We are quite a distance from the fires
and the smoke seems to be “pluming” east. The wind is sending
it far afield...saw a satellite picture on tv.
I just hope the firefighters and the people in the immediate
area are safe. They have evacuated a lot of folks to the
elementary school gym in Crane, south of us.
Oh my goodness..I would not have thought you would have so many that far north...and I see now why you are waiting for spring if you are in Minnesota..
We are having summer here..I hate to think what real summer will be like this year in Texas.

My home town, Groesbeck did get damage..”tornadic winds” the Courthouse and some businesses noted.
..wind did damage along the route east.
I am blessed to be right here tonight.

Amen..others have been damaged or lost homes..I just read about a very large amount of damage in East Texas...I did not have my TV on and did not know about that.
Of course when I turned on the TV it was all about our storms
Me too. It was a long summer, in this case for the wrong reasons. Just glad everyone’s safe this evening.

There have been some evacuations and structures burned, but,
indeed, so far all in the immediate area of the fire are safe and uninjured.
