Happy Monday

I have let Saturday and Sunday wear
me out and I can't play today
and I also have a (crik) in my neck! We have tornado warnings in Tennessee today.
We probably will get bad thunderstorms and its getting darker outside now.
I sure hope we will escape dreadful weather!

Happy Monday after Easter,everyone.
Yesterday's thread was absolutely beautiful.
It was a very busy day but I checked in several times and thouroughly enjoyed the wonderful Easter Graphics.

Yesterday capped off a busy Easter week.
For awhile yesterday, I had 5 great-nieces here.
Marissa at 11 was the oldest. Five little girls can get pretty noisy. :)
Marissa's mom and another niece were here and enjoyed visiting while the kids played.
Michael and Marissa's mom hid the eggs and everyone had waaay too much candy.

Thank you again for making Amy's Place special.

I love this graphic and the poem within it. I distrust his waspitality, too! They start bad in our area very shortly. I am scared to death of them! I run fast if I spot one!

Nature’s Rage

Amid the raging night the winds rip past
hard rains and howling rage come on fast
Etched across an ebony sky sears pure light
and we jump at the blast of thunder’s might

The roaring of Nature’s rage is loud and wet
and the wind sings of things yet long to set
We cringe as Nature vents her wrath and pain
in this turbulent flow now become so insane.

In this turmoil we are as rain soaked kittens weak
shaking in the moments of sudden silence we seek
The storm rages on and we wait to see if we make it
fearful of the reality of how small we are a bit

Hi Conor, Thank you for the Soldier’s Code. Hope you are having a “good” Monday! Its pouring rain here....how’s your weather? We seem to always have the same weather! It seems to be lightening up here at the moment. It was heavy for a while here!
