Thank you Conor. This was my first sheltie, Dolly, and my second one was black and white named Cagney. The both are at Rainbow Bridge now. ~sniff~

Thank you so much! She was my first Sheltie and my second one was black and white. They are at Rainbow Bridge now. They were the sweetest dogs and so intelligent. Makes me want another, except for the shedding. LOL!

I saw that threat on the weather channel earlier..very high!

Praying all the tornados never touch ground and that you and yours are spared from harm and destruction.

You can understand why we fell in love. We purchased her at a Pet Shop in the Mall. (not a good idea even though we were lucky with her.) Barry had his good clothes on as we had been to church. Well, you might know, she vomited in his lap on the way home. He couldn’t move. I told him just to sit still and we would clean everything up when we got home and we did. He had begged so hard for us to get her and at the time I wondered if he had changed his mind.....LOL!

It is sad indeed that our pets are so short-lived - I could recite a litany of puppies and kitties who have gone over the Bridge - always too soon, it seems.

Thanks for your prayers.
It looks OK right now. The worst cells went north of here.
The rest of the front will go through by midnight.
It is SO humid, and still close to 80 degrees.
Behind the front is is more like 50.

I knew we were in trouble when they had 2 Weather Channel people in our area.

I worry about the horses. The barn is strong but on a bit of a hill, as are the greenhouses.

I get more worried than most about weather because when I was around 10, our family farm was leveled by a tornado. God spared our house but all the other structures were flattened. I think my feelings about this weather threat today, qualify as “post traumatic stress syndrome”. My husband is not even worried, but he’s never been through a tornado either.

I’ve prayed and prayed, and will have to trust The Lord as always. He gave us a miracle of the WI Supreme Court Prosser win this week, and He got me that food allergy test that has restored my health too. I’ve had 2 miracles in a month, and I’m asking for a third miracle tonight.

My son and his 8 mo pregnant wife were in a terrible,BIG tornado in 79 in Wichita Falls..Worst scare of my life for my children...They were spared..I know what utter destruction looks like.
Prayers for all in harms way...I turned on the weather channel after I saw your post.

WOW! Prayers a definitely going out to you and your family and of course your animals!! It feels like something strange is going on. I’m in Arizona and we had 8” of snow yesterday and will be in the 90’s by the weekend. For you to be in the 80’s is probably unusual!

Hi Tiapam! Gee you had a lot of snow! It’s been about 2 weeks since we last saw snow. Looks like the first part of the weather front went a little north of us, and now we are awaiting the rest to come through. At least it will be over by 11pm or so, and we will be able to sleep safely.
