Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin may be headed for the state represented by the U.S. Senator who introduced Ms. Palin to the nation: Arizona.

The former governor of Alaska is reportedly considering a move to the state of Arizona, where her daughter Bristol recently bought a home.

The rumor sent the Arizona Democratic Party scrambling.

“Help us send a strong message that Arizona should not be a stepping stone for extremist politicians and their radical agendas,” wrote Luis Heredia, the state party’s executive director.

Mr. Heredia, were you nearly as concerned about "extremist politicians and their radical agendas" in 2008 when Obama proposed his radical agenda for the nation?

Please tell me that she won’t try to run with McCain again.
I know she thinks they’re pals, a near curious relationship in my opinion, but if I were her I wouldn’t take that to the bank for deposit just yet. Curiousier and curiouser.

If you are running for President and you are from Alaska....you need a home base in the lower 48.....it’s too far and long to travel that far back and forth.....btw Phoenix has direct daily flights to Alaska and she said that when she was down there to study fir the debates she enjoyed the weather

They are most likely setting up a home base in the lower 48 for a run to the WH

Luis Heredia, typical racist Democrat. A real nobody. in a state where the Democrat party is fast becoming irrelevant. The rumor is not that Palin is moving to Arizona. The rumor is, that if she does run for President, she will probably headquarter her campaign in Scottsdale. I read it is simply a matter of logistics and economics.
Well neither of those are understandable to Democrats.

That is how the media presents things.
Sarah Palin is NOT extreme. She is a common sense conservative.

“curious”? lol

McCain, (and his wife) dissed her if not by blunt word, certainly in body language, he passed when asked if he would support her, and sits back while Meghan all but trashes her, and was simply desperate to jack up his flailing campaign when he picked her for his ticket. In return, Palin shows for barbeque when called and has bothered to go a little maverick right along with him on an issue or two. Dang curious, when she owes him nothing and remains deferential.

Completely agree. She even went out of her way to campaign for him, over a more conservative candidate. I know for certain that she lost some support because of that. It really is kinda weird....

I would imagine, if anything, she’d get a 2nd home in a warmer climate. Not unreasonable, especially since her daughter and only grandchild will be living there. Not likely it has a thing to do with McCain. Given the current real estate situation in AZ, it’d be a smart investment, too. Makes total sense, all political considerations notwithstanding.
