This little ditty is making the rounds lately...probably going viral if not already:
"A CEO, a union rep, and a tea party activist sat in a room with 12 cookies. The CEO took 11 of them and said to the tea party activist, "Look out, the union guy is about to take your cookie."

Yep - that’s good, and in the direction I was thinking.
Oh, and if the Tea Party guy didn’t like it, he would quit and work for the competitor or start his own firm. OTOH, if the Union guy took them and the CEO raised an eyebrow it would be “We’ll go on strike!!”

The TEA Party activist, also stock holders, financed the party. The CEO took 1 cookies to share with fellow executives, gave 5 cookies the union's health insurance provider, gave 5 cookies to the union's Wall Street pension fund. The liberal union guy ignored the last cookie, preferring his Tofu & Been Sprouts.

The Union guy took all the cookies and was never seen or heard from again......rumor has it, he is buried under the pitchers mound at Yankee Stadium

The Union guy would threaten a strike until the CEO forked over half of the cookies. Then the union guy would smack the tea party person and burn his house down for calling him a thug. The tea party person would call a hundred of his friends to help. The union guy would stage a sit in and chant HELL NO WE WONT GO.After a few days the union guys would realize they burnt down the wrong house and then proceed to blame Sarah Palin.
The CEO would take all the cookies and refuse to put them in a cookie jar. After the cookies go stale they will then tell the US government that if they dont get a cookie bailout, they would move to China.

‘And. . . what kind of cookies are they?’
They’re actually cupcakes.
Cupcakes are gourmet now.
Not cookies - it’s all a mistake. Bad reporting.

Spot on, fanfan.
That’s what’s wrong with the sentence. Unless all of the cookies belonged to the company of the CEO, he wouldn’t take them to begin with. And if they did, he should have taken them all, and sold or distributed them as he pleased.
