Glenn Beck is scaring the S^&@ out of me tonight!

I'm always at work when the first showing of Glenn Beck airs.

Lately I've been staying up and watching the 1am repeat.

Today he talked about how financial terrorists could have caused the collapse of 08.

He's also talking about middle eastern countries falling.

He showed a map and asked the question.. if all the countries fall around Iraq.. how will our troops even get out of that country???

He then urged everyone to stock up on food.. and said while America waits for Charlie Sheens next tweet.. Americas enemies are planning our downfall..

That assume our Air Force will be allowed to fly in and remove our troops, not by the Muslims as has been suggested by many on this thread but by Obama himself.

In a scenario eerily similar to the Phillipines in the last days of 1941 our troops on the ground could find themselves with no way out because Obama will refuse to anger the Iranians and leave them there as a bargaining chip for Iran to do the right thing on the world stage.

Call it the Jimmy Carter Option....

That statement is not new, Beck is a Mormon.

Does that advice make sense? It is uncertain at this point. Everyone seems to think that inflation is what we are facing, but my gut still tells me that deflation is the real danger. If you don't have money, you don't spend it. As far as widespread hunger in the U.S., there is NO reason for it to happen. That is except for the passage of HR2748/S.510/HR2751 FDA Food Takeover Bill during the Lame Duck session. The consequences of that one frightens the crap out of me.

Probably part of the same message I saw a few weeks ago...

..I stopped at a Cracker Barrel and saw 2 huge new RVs in the parking lot, professionally painted with the words.... 'The World Will End May 21'.......

..it spooked me for a second, but it really looked like part of a movie promotion.

Anyway, only God knows when the world will end.....and we all will know when He comes back.

And our political class had nothing to do with it? How much has Uncle Sam borrowed? 14 Trillion and climbing, the federal government did this to us, 1933 FDR took us off the gold standard and the dollar has fallen like a rock. Nixon closed the gold widow and the fall has accelerated. I want to send out a big thank you to the political class for spending/manipulating the dollar and sending this great country into the poor house.

I think we have a lot of people too afraid to see what is happening right in front of them. The "This is America, it can't happen here" mentality. They really only want to hear "Republicans good, Democrats bad" political banter. Personally, I'd love to get back to those days myself. I dig fat and happy.

I guess when you wipe away the tears, get rid of the religion crap and get to the meat and bones of what Beck has said, I just can't see where he is wrong. In fact, he doesn't go far enough in explaining exactly what is happening and what we are up against.

Bury your heads in the sand if you'd like but one morning very soon you will not be able to deny what is happening.

Actually back when the collapse happened, tracing at the time back through the year before...it was the Saudi’s. They used and gamed the system to secure a financial cushion...and then pulled the rug.

Sometimes Glenn worries about too many things. If it ever came to that, all Obama would have to do is ask whoever is next up on stage to take a little break while he goes and orders a ferry to pick up our soldiers at the dock.

A) We still have 500k troops in Iraq? I thought we brought them all home except for about 50k.

B) Shuffling our embassy staff out of Libya....ooops, I mean Lybia....on ferries seemed to work fine. Yes, it took 20 or 30 trips because we ordered a ferry that was too small, but still....

C) Did I forget the /s thing?
