I cannot connect to one website using Firefox or Internet Explorer.
All other websites go through just fine.
I was able to connect with the problem website from another PC today so the problem is mine, not the site's.
Thanks.
(Obligatory joke post)
Seriously: try this site: http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
Do you have a ‘kid block’ on your computer or hit it by mistake?
Check the address with this site too:

OK, the first step is to see if you have DNS resolution.
Open a command window, type in ‘nslookup’
At the prompt, enter the domain name, such as ‘google.com’
It should answer with an IP address. If it says it can’t find that domain, you don’t have DNS resolution on your DNS server.
Thanks folks.
Went to that site and it’s just me.
Sob!
It’s a computer allergy. The chips in your computer are allergic to that site. There are some rare, expensive pills that I can get for you if you just FReepmail your banking information...
What’s a command window? (See what I mean about being challenged)
I had been able to access this website until 2 days ago.
All financial info on the way. :-)
Whats a command window?
Click Start
type in “cmd” (without the quotes)
a Command Window will pop up (black screen)

You've made a wise choice, FRiend. After all, what's the worst that could happen? ;0)
Would you be opposed to posting a link to the website?
I got the black screen ——typed in the URL and got Democraticunderground.com not recognized as internal or external command.Inoperable program or batch file.
I then did again using freerepublic.com and got the same message.
I’ve been visiting DU for 10 years.
I am now going to bang my head against the wall.
It’s democraticunderground.com
I check it out every day.
