Charlie Sheen has launched another crude attack against his bosses at CBS and Warner Bros following Thursday's announcement that the remaining season of Two and a Half Men has been scrapped.

On Friday, Sheen (now in the Bahamas) called into the radio show Loose Cannons and lashed out at his bosses - whom he called "clowns" - for "getting up in my grill, telling me how to live my personal life."

"I kept saying back off, back off - and they wouldn't," he added. "I kept asking for that respect and I couldn't get it.

The show has been on a long time and is always at the top of the ratings pile, so I am not the only one watching.

Sheen’s slang does veer all over the place. He is obviously very bright and articulate, though. And, he has a great command of the language. I will give him credit for keeping his language clean.

I guess I'm kinda on Charlie's side. So, long as he doesn't commit a crime (drugs, slapping women around, etc)his personal conduct is his own business.

He has an employer who is investing money in him. He is free to do whatever they hell he wants with his "own business"...but they are also free to tell him that he is too big a risk for them to invest THEIR money in.

Thanks!!

True, his life is a train wreck, but it has been before and he has recovered from it.

I have often wondered why someone like Charlie gets so many chances. So many wives, so many kid, so many opportunities.

My DH initially defended this creep....the first week after he went into the hospital.....it’s his fav TV show.....but last night I mentioned Sheen and DH said he is “through with that show”....the guy is losing his fan base. Couldn’t happen to a bigger creep. I never would have thought DH would bail on this guy so easily, but he did and without any encouragement from me.

I think the last stars to win a war with the studios were Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford, and Charlie Chaplin.

The guys a porn-loving, hard-drinking, drug-doing reprobate but he’s honest about it. So what? He’s got the right to be stupid if he wants and he’s got the time and money to do it, so let him. Who cares and why should we anyway?

I’d put him in a room with some pens and blank paper and suspend the show until he writes the next episode. If it is good the show continues. If he can’t do it then he gets down on his hands and knees in the public square and BEGS the writers of the show for forgiveness and tells him they are greater than he is.

I guess it's just me because I live in Hollywood and work with these people.

Actually, Charly Sheen is a " low to mid level" sex, alcohol and dope fiend by Hollywood standards. There are those here who would absolutely die if their escapades became public like Charly's has. Quite a few major stars that I know of would shoot themselves and their are more women stars that fit the category than men. FYI.

I'm not sure why I care about Charlie. But the thing that separates him from the other drug-addled stars in H-wood that we read about all the time is that he is productive. He is a success. He isn't just going into rehab all the time, or trying to get his photo in the news, or appearing in front of a judge.

He is a pretty good actor with a good resume.

Apparently people who invest a whole lot of money in tv and film care and want to minimize risk to the investment. The crew and staff whose mortgage payments depend on a show or film attracting investors so they can keep their jobs.

As for part II...we shouldn't.

Well, he got away with it until now when he failed massively to be able to fulfill his keystone role in a multi-million dollar operation that now has bitten the dust and put lots of very highly paid talent, both in front of and behind the screen, out of work, and costing the enterprise untold millions of dollars in future revenues.

Just off the top of my head that's who cares and why they should. And that doesn't come anywhere near any of the human aspects of the situation or the unforeseen consequences that comes from the failure of a complex organization like a hollywood tv series that touches the lives of THOUSANDS of people to make it run.

I should also say that there are some really cool people in the business too. The vast majority are more or less regular people coping with enormous peer pressure and stress.

Quite a few closet conservatives recently - seems to be a trend thanks to the incompetence and evil of Soetoro.

But at what point do those issues stop being the individual’s problem and becomes the employer’s problem? Hollywood depends so heavily on image that I’m surprised it’s tolerated much at all.

Total comic relief from the real problems of the world.

And yes, it’s obviously the drugs talking.

The parallels between Sheen’s destructive behavior and the downfall of Mark Wahlberg’s “Dirk Diggler” character in “Boogie Nights” is astonishing. Director/writer Paul Anderson totally nailed the megalomania and personality destruction induced by unlimited amounts of cocaine. It’s like Sheen is simply following the script of “Boogie Nights”, only without Dirk Diggler’s super schlong.

Don’t you think he has a point about them being hypocrites? He probably watched them snort up in person.

Why don’t the producers just replace him with another actor? I don’t watch the show, but they replaced the Darren guy on Bewitched and it didn’t seem to matter to the audience.
