Here's how to get there:

Go to "www.dpi.state.wi.us" and then look for the tab called "Data." Click on that tab and it opens a dropdown box. Look for "Staff/Teacher data" and click on that. It opens a new window. Look on the list for "School Staff and Salary Data" and click that. It opens another window. Scroll down to "All Staff Data" and section and you'll see the year 2009-10. To the right of that is "10staff.doc" so click on that and it will open the spreadsheet. Lots of data to look over. Admininstrative salaries are also shown toward the top of this page in another section.

At the State Teacher Salaries website, it was interesting to note that the state with the highest teacher salary is the state that’s on the verge of going under and has raised taxes by 60%.....Illinois. I’d be getting out of there as fast as I could.

Teachers in some areas here in California make 6 figures BEFORE benefits. In a very short time, this state will be paying for an entire generation of teachers to NOT work (retired) as well as a second generation TO work. The exact same thing is happening in every state in America.

Add two generations of bureaucrats, cops, firefighters and corrections officers and you can see why Wisconsin and other states are having to back down their public-sector unions.

A kindergarten teacher can make over twice our combined income IN RETIREMENT!
