Someone had posted the link with the information I thought I bookmarked it but now I can't find it. Does anyone know where that link is? Thanks....
This does not appear to be exactly what you are looking for but it is interesting:

You can get hard data from here:
http://dpi.state.wi.us/lbstat/newasr.html
2010 Teacher salaries Excel sheet here:
http://dpi.state.wi.us/lbstat/xls/tasr10.xls
Go to "www.dpi.state.wi.us" and then look for the tab called "Data." Click on that tab and it opens a dropdown box. Look for "Staff/Teacher data" and click on that. It opens a new window. Look on the list for "School Staff and Salary Data" and click that. It opens another window. Scroll down to "All Staff Data" and section and you'll see the year 2009-10. To the right of that is "10staff.doc" so click on that and it will open the spreadsheet. Lots of data to look over. Admininstrative salaries are also shown toward the top of this page in another section.
Huh? The site you posted
http://www.teacher-world.com/statespages/Wisconsin.html
shows $47,602 (this is consistent with the Excel sheet for 2010 that I pulled off the Wisconsin staff salary site
http://dpi.state.wi.us/lbstat/newasr.html ).
That’s still pretty good, but where did you get the $56K number?
What makes people *think* they do not *work* for the benefits? ...any more/less than a cop or fire fighter?

Consequently, in order to attain a position as an administrator, a masters, PhD or Ed D. is required.
On average, Administrators will earn around $30,000 more each year than their hard working, teacher cohorts!
At the State Teacher Salaries website, it was interesting to note that the state with the highest teacher salary is the state that’s on the verge of going under and has raised taxes by 60%.....Illinois. I’d be getting out of there as fast as I could.

Financial Data for Wisconsin State Spending on Teachers * Salary expenditure on all teachers (including home schoolers, special education, non-certified teachers): $3,571,389,694====================
* Benefits expenditures for teachers: $1,719,827,769
* Instructional expenditures for teaching supplies: $196,466,650
* Total current instructional expenditures per student (teacher salary and curriculum): $6,730
* Total current expenditures per student: $11,418
Teachers in some areas here in California make 6 figures BEFORE benefits. In a very short time, this state will be paying for an entire generation of teachers to NOT work (retired) as well as a second generation TO work. The exact same thing is happening in every state in America.
Add two generations of bureaucrats, cops, firefighters and corrections officers and you can see why Wisconsin and other states are having to back down their public-sector unions.
A kindergarten teacher can make over twice our combined income IN RETIREMENT!
if you read the post right under my post i corrected it to 52k
