I reject your flawed reasoning. What you said is exactly how liberals think.

As I understand it, you believe people make wrong choices, and others have to pay for their wrong choices, so you’re going to take it upon yourself to force your own choices upon them whenever you can.

Congrats. You’ve just (re)invented Obamacare.

Fact is, you can choose which company you buy your insurance from, or you may be in a state where you can choose not to buy insurance altogether. If you aren’t, then that’s something to take up with your government, not me.

I am not forcing you to pay what you pay for insurance. In fact, my driving record is PERFECT, without a single moving violation or citation of any kind, so I don’t cost you in any way. I’m in the lowest cost insurance bracket, I’m married, have perfect credit, yada, yada, yada.

I’m an insurer’s dream, because I’m all premiums and never make a claim. And somehow, I did this all without you or anyone else driving in front of me for my own good. Because once again, you have no idea what’s going on in the car behind you. It isn’t your business!

I paid for the roads with my taxes too. It is not your job to set the speed limits. And I can’t believe that your little philosophy of keeping people “safe” overrides all other concerns of the people in the car behind you, some of which, as I’ve illustrated, could be in a life-or-death situation that’s exacerbated by your meddling philosophy. You didn’t even acknowledge the previous situation with my wife’s daughter. Why is that?

Unbelieveable. Your driving stunts (and that’s exactly what they are, as you brag smugly about it) might seem trivial to you, but perhaps you’ve never seen the study a few years back that found the slowest 5% of drivers on urban streets and highways are involved in more accidents than those who drive at any other speed? http://www.ibiblio.org/rdu/sl-irre0.html You realize your actions are dangerous to others, right?

The same people who would never be so rude as to stand in line at McDonalds taking forever to order a damn quarter pounder think nothing of going out and attempting to destroy the efficiency of the highway system, piling up traffic behind them a mile long, and causing dangerous situations. And then, come in here and brag about it, as if they’re a hero!

As I said before, don’t do me any favors. Drive with the flow of traffic if you really want us to be safe.

If you do not feel like you have to pay for the damages you cause when you make mistakes while you drive, then you can always choose to not drive. Comparing this with 0bamacare, which only exempts you if you die, is stupid.

I am not forcing you to pay what you pay for insurance.

I'm not forcing anyone to pay anything for insurance either, but your belief that you should not have to have a way to pay for the damages you cause to others if you were to cause an accident is even more dangerous than my belief that the best way to fight the ever increasing cost of traffic violations is to simply not incur them.

Because once again, you have no idea what’s going on in the car behind you. It isn’t your business!

And you have no idea what is going on the car in front of you. Maybe the person driving cannot afford to incur tons of traffic tickets or pay the extra insurance costs that are associated with them.

I paid for the roads with my taxes too. It is not your job to set the speed limits. And I can’t believe that your little philosophy of keeping people “safe” overrides all other concerns ...

Did I mention safety? No. My only concern was not getting traffic tickets. Besides, if someone is barreling down my rear end at 50mph in a 30mph zone then perhaps they deserve to get a ticket or two.

You didn’t even acknowledge the previous situation with my wife’s daughter. Why is that?

If that situation is so dire, would you really choose to be stuck behind a slowpoke, or would you take the chance and find a way to either illegally pass on the left, or drive down the grass on the right?

Drive with the flow of traffic if you really want us to be safe.

Once the government stops punishing people for doing that, I will.
