I used to be amazed how our dog would squish herself under the couch or bed in what looked to me like an incredibly uncomfortable position- yet she was as happy as a clam.

Our Siamese/whatever mix would do amazing feats of flattening when younger. Could literally flatten out and slip under 2" and less vertical clearance. Big Siamese would just watch him stolidly. Like the old broad in "Her Alibi": "I could do that".

Amazing to watch the performance. Can't do it know of course, being a big stud at 14#.............
