Oh Yes! The Average American Home Has At Least One Member Who Resembles A "B List Model". They do it to us every January&February. Why can't Michelle Obama put a stop to these sexually charged commercials! AND YOU ARE SURE TO GET THE "WOW FACTOR" when your perfect 10 girlfriend opens her gift.Who doesn't say "Please Spare Us", or just change the channel whenever these sex crazed Teddy Bears invade our new Flat Screen TV's! Why Do The Makers Of These Teddy Bears In Heat Actually Think We All Live With Victoria Secret Models ??? Anyone have an explanation?
This is what you get for watching television.
Your remote has an off button.
I know what you mean.
I’m sick of sex being peddled via commercials- especially the gay brand
Thanks. I’ll tell my grandmother about those.
Today’s fashions about drive her crazy. LOL
So, like, .....Dude!
Like, when you go out your front door (You got one, right?) and it’s like morning? You know?
Wait.....
(Oh, KEWL!)
And like you go out the door and there’s this sky? You know? Up there?
Like what colors do your see?
I quit responding to Teddy Bears when I was six. Is this pandering to a man’s dream of a 16 y/o baby doll to call his own?
It's reckless.
>>>Think that is bad what about the Viragra Commercials? Or the Extends<<<
You left out the feminine hygiene product with the tag line “Have a happy...”
I think the last time I got a teddy bear as a gift was when I was in High School. I have no idea why a grown woman would want a toy? Should the response be “thank you, were they all out of Legos?”
I found a few nice things I think she might go for by following your suggestions.
She’s not a prude, she just wants normal classy clothes that don’t reveal all you have- ‘like it used to be before the fashion world went nuts’. LOL
My grandmother also wears a size 4 pant, so that further limits her choices. (She’s always been very slim.)
Most start at size 8.
Ahh, this reminds me I still have the Valentines day card in my briefcase that I forgot to give the GF last year.
If you think Teddy Bear commercials are R rated, you should see what they advertised on Cable Channel 225?? around 3-4am EDLST. Very adult toys. We couldn’t believe our eyes. Its what this country has become. We are over commercialized and morally lax. We have lost it.
"Watch how much fun it is to deliver love with Bug 'Em."
Makes you feel that as a parent, if your kid doesn't get praised with a *Bug 'EM*...you are a failure.
Alabama sex toy shop to trade guns off streets for fun between sheets
I’m with your grandmother. They drive me crazy, too. :D I’m petite and generally avoid wearing pants - I don’t actually own any at the moment. I like to look feminine, but stylish at the same time. I end up sewing and buying vintage to get exactly what I want.
Clothing is important; it really is. We seem to be programed to look at eat other to get hints about how we should treat each other and clothing is part of that.
I read an article just this week about how 1940’s-1950’s fashion is coming back. One of the women in the article mentioned that men treat her differently (better) when she dresses more femininely. They open doors and watch their mouths around her.
It’s such a shame that we toss that out the window whenever we wear clothes that leave nothing to the imagination or dress like men.
Here’s the article. It’s an interesting read. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/03/fashion/03REPRO.html
By sending you worthless greenbacks & rolls of 'sandwich' quarters for it?
Why would anyone trade gold for "money"?
Look carefully at your remote for a button labled "Mute".
Press it when commercials start; press it again when the show comes back.
You will be pleasantly amazed at the results.
If we insist in dressing and acting like sl**s, then that’s the way we’ll be treated.
Women just don’t know when they had it good.
My grandmother is 5’ 5 1/2 and very slim.
She likes to wear dress pants with little silky tailored blousee and lots of gold jewelry, etc- unless it’s for church or a special occasion then she wears a dress.
Then I deem that commercial a success.
