I was in the kitchen ( quit half time shows after enduring Jacko grabbing his crotch ) . I could here DH grumbling about it . Did they actually say Obama’s name ?

Hell, give me Darius Rucker. I sorta met Charlie Pride one time, sat behind to him at an El Fenix here in Big D, he is a class act and a nice man.
I watched the Puppy Bowl, I’d rather listen to puppies bark than Fergie sing. I hate all that band’s carp. They stink worser than puppy poop.
Actually, I like the Black Eyed Peas. They’ve had a ton of hits — but the sound and acoustics were just extremely bad.
Bands nowadays don’t do all that well in front of live audiences ...with everything so mixed, synthesized, and airbrush edited for MTV videos.
You hit the nail on the head. My wife and I were dining out at a Red Robin. First of all, the joint was empty. They were only seating folks in the bar area. It seems to me that the Super Bowl, while it may help the economy of the host city and every pizza joint in America, is detrimental to the economy of just about every other retail establishment in the country.
As for those untalented bunch of so-called “musicians and singers,”, who does the NFL think is sitting in the stands at those outrageous ticket prices?. It surely is NOT the teens who consider that crap music. How dumb can the NFL get? As for me, the only successful Super Bowl half time show was the one in which Janet Jackson showed us one of her titties.
Then we have the National Anthem screw-up and the unfinished seats that cost several hundred ticket purchasers the loss of their seats. What a disaster of a Super Bowl.

Sorry, I wasn’t singling you out for any reason, just asking a question to whoever might have an answer. I had heard that there would be a 2 1/2 minute tribute to Reagan right before the game, but never saw one.
Well....my husband and I dined out at McGraths Fish House....didn’t think there would be as many people as there were....either did they! anyhoo....they had offered a BOGO for their email members....nearly everyone inthe bar had one....LOL....kinda watched the half time.....mostly read the words...quit when I saw a “bleep”.....we gave up Cable last week....seems we aren’t missing much! We are discovering new and better things to do!

That was the worst halftime show I’ve ever seen. I’m a musician And I have to say that was downright embarrassing. That was not music. That was absolute BS

Now you might think I'm one of those old geezers, who if I was around in 1964, would be castigating the long-haired Beatles. But you would be wrong. There is a lot of great music being made today by artists such as Neko Case, Arcade Fire, The Hold Steady, Explosions In The Sky, Joanna Newsom, and many others. But you never hear them on commercial radio and you certainly won't hear them in an NFL halftime show.

I have 3 teenage daughters, all in to the latest hip hop crap. They were absolutely embarrassed. It was that bad.

There’s nothing like a 52” HDTV set to show just how truly bad it was. They looked like “it seemed like a good idea” Halloween costume rejects.
There was supposed to be an NFL Reagan tribute before the game tonight but we didn’t see it.
