That one sounds like me. I have so many RED HATS and we closed our club recently! The lady who started our club with a charter, etc....she is called the Queen Mother. She got to where she never attended and everyone else was doing all her work. We had started talking about getting a new Queen Mother and that would have been the one who was doing all the work. Evidently the word got back to the first Q.M. and it made her mad and she suddenly told us she was closing it down and if we wanted to re-open it, we would have to get a new charter and do all the stuff it takes to start a new club. Some of us were getting tired and we had been to every restaurant around and several times to our favorites. So for this moment we are closed....LOL!
Wonderful news about Max. I had been very concerned! Thank goodness!
I'm very busy today and probably won't be around much. And my upper back is hurting also.
Amy, the article won’t open for me, but I see in my browser that it is about Valley Fever. I think it is carried in dust - so when it is dry and windy - it may be best to avoid going outside, if at all possible, in the SW.
I am so HAPPY that Max is feeling better! WOW, Ms. Amy - you have been through SO much this past six weeks! Maybe you are now going to be able to rest.
I just finished making JC’s Green Bean salad, and with it, I am fixing macaroni salad, with green peppers, pimentos, onions, tuna and mayo. Should be a nice, light dinner!
(Oh - I bought the pepper at the Commissary for $0.69 - they are $2.09 here!)
I hope Mr. Just and Marissa are healing well! ((((HUGS!))))

The article is about the drastic increase in Valley Fever cases this year.
I just thought it was interesting considering they are checking Max for it. I was unaware that animals could get Valley Fever. For us who were raised in the valley, we have probably been exposed and have an immunity but for newcomers and small children it can be serious. Anyway if Max has/had it, he is probably now immune.
Mr Just is doing well and Marissa is doing great!! She wants something more substantial than soups and ice cream. She had mashed ptotatoes and gravy last night ... we even put some very small pieces of pot roast in the gravy.
She had company last night .... another great-niece. They did make-up, watched a couple of movies and stayed up late! :)
