Advice from Spain...never drive in a foreign country and think it will be just like home. The six hour trip took over ten hours. Two hours lost in Madrid on the way out and two more lost in Barcelona on the way in. Oh, and the minivan was more like a hotel courtesy shuttle bus. We were the biggest thing on the road on those narrow streets.
It took some liquor to recover last night:)

BTW..did you ever see a movie called "Stand Up and Cheer"..a documentary about the Dixie Chicks and the mess when one of them made the comment about how she's ashamed that Bush is from Texas?
I'd never heard of it...was channel surfing a little while ago..it's playing on CMT...so I was watching a litle..then all of a sudden I see on the screen a computer monitor..and it's showing Free Republic, with the threads about the Dixie Chicks....and one guy is saying "it's these Free Republicans, they're behind all the protests...they're well organized.."
Do they at least drive on the right side of the road in Spain? Are you the only driver on the trip?

Speaking of movies and such, I just watched the first episode of The Borgias (new one) on my ‘puter. (I have Infinity via Comcast.) It is really really good, although I shouldn’t be watching it during Lent.
Those guys were very evil back there in the Vatican in 1492. Jeremy Irons is the wicked Pope Alexander VI. Some very good acting; gorgeous sets; and marvelously authentic costumes. R-rated.
Now...back to our regular programming.
No, I never saw it, but, I did notice the other night that there was a movie called Shut Up and sing on and it was about the Dipsi Chits. Didn’t watch that one either! lol

I was watching Red Eye last night and they were talking about the European Union. Seems the EU wants to ban cars by 2050.
Wow, I wish that were on regular tv or On Demand. I have a book called The Bad Popes and they weren’t kidding! Money and power ruled the day and they weren’t above killing, several times if necessary. :)
