Hi, Wolfstar! :)
I'm enjoying the show now more than I have in several seasons (especially last season). I didn't know what to expect from the new judges, but they are working out great. Steven Tyler is the big hit of this season so far, imo. He's sharp and quick-witted, and he brings decades of performing experience that no other judge has been able to offer.
Also, the judges actually seem happy to be there. Simon was bored and it made the show boring. He STILL looks bored in the promo for his new show. I don't miss him at all.

Question, kind people..
Has anyone come across an article/link about what actually happens at the auditions....not in front of the judges, but how 10,000 or so people get whittled down to the few hundred who get to sing for the judges..
Just realized that I don't think I've seen the names Simon, or Kara, or Paula anywheres on the thread so far...new judges are working out...Tyler is great..

Hi jonny! Thanks! It’s nice to be back.
We just moved our offices, which took close to two months of packing, lugging, gulping Ibuprofin and whining (me -LOL). Then there’s all the work you have to catch up on afterwards.
I agree - I think that Simon was bored and antsy, and his departure, along with JLo and Tyler’s addition, have really given the show a shot in the arm. I *hated last year. Much better now :)
