Pia and Scotty are locks, I think Lauren also..the fourth spot..either James or Casey..I this James..

My final 4: Scotty, Pia, casey, and James. Lauren would have to up her confidence significantly to beat out James.

They were great, but for the first time, at least to me, we were able to hear the real difference between their style, range, etc.
Lauren has a real chance to be top 5,3, or even 2 if she can
bring that some focus.

Pia is too boring.
Where do ya’ll see a lack of focus or confidence in Lauren? When she sings she is tops among the group, showing poise and power. Granted, during the after-song interview she lacks confidence but during concerts or on her CD, I’m not wanting to listen to her being interviewed.

I think that duo gave Lauren’s confidence a real boost coupled with her solo performance.

We have had fellas the past 3 seasons. It might be time for a female idol again so that may give Pia the upper hand.
Scotty will get a record deal regardless. I’ll bet he’s already got contracts in waiting.
Pia is more mainstream and current. Big, powerful voice. Beautiful. Huge star potential because not only can she sing but the camera loves her too.
Lauren is very pretty with a great voice but needs to grow into herself more. Jordan Sparks was so young when she won and while she’s had a couple hits, has not achieved the success level of Carrie or Kelly. Disadvantaged by age I think. Blooming early then falling off the map.
15 year old girls are generally not the most confident creatures on earth. Since she’s tall and has such presence when singing it’s easy to forget she’s really just a kid.
Funny that we all have the same 4 but different orders.

Honestly, I don’t care who of those top 3 win because they are all deserving IMO.
James is clearly talented but I just don’t like his style. Personal preference. I put him in the top based on his talent and likability to others other than myself :D
Yeah, Lauren needs to work on that. I wouldn’t want to be at her concert where she would talk between songs and have to endure garble, mumble stupid crap coming out of her mouth. she gets flustered to much. This last time she got flustered so she went to the ‘Jennifer is so awesome’ routine.

I think top 5 we can agree, top 4 is a bit trickier. I need to see what Casey does next week, to see if he is getting it. Same with Pia. Supposedly she is going to do a fast song next week. Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.
I think Scotty for sure, and James. Pia is starting to slip. The question is, is she slipping fast enough to be out of the top 4? I think I’ll add in Lauren and Casey.

The only females in our home, besides me, are our two sweet kitties. They are my “girls”. :^D They contribute exactly ZERO estrogen to our household—just lots of fur. LOL.
