I honestly don’t get why people like Jacob. I’m gonna go ahead and just be blunt. I am so sick and tired of these flamboyant, in-your-face gay “performers” being swooned all over because “they still have a great voice”. Whatever. This guy is ok but I personally don’t find him great. You have to have more than a decent voice to be a good singer. He hollers, he extorts his face, he spits all over the place, he looks awkward.
He is totally and utterly broadway and IMO that’s where he should go. He is simply NOT Idol material and will drop off the face of the earth just like so many other Idol kids should he even come close to winning.
He’s just a distraction at this point. I wanna cut through the crap, cut the dead weight and start listening to those who can actually win and have a career out of this show.
Furthermore...
Paul- you’re weird and you suck. Nice smile but you annoy me.
Thia- You’re boring, bye bye. Come back when you age a few years and grow a personality.
Naima- Seriously, you suck too. Probably the worst
James- Good performer but for some reason, I can’t make myself like you.
Haley- eh. Who cares one way or the other
Pia- You’re my favorite voice but enough with the ballads already. We get it. I wanna see you kick @ss and sing some Pat Benetar or Heart. THAT would kill
Stefano- Nice boy but you’re going nowhere alone. See ya when New Kids on the Block reinvents itself
Scotty- The one bright spot that makes me smile every week. Love you. But quit the weird head tilt thing you got going on.
Casey- I didn’t get you from the get-go. Creepy as another poster pointed out
Lauren- Adorable, always looks scared to death after singing and clearly the whole package. Lots of potential there. Still waiting for her to have a “moment”. I remember when Carrie had hers. I remember when Lee had his. It’s coming...I hope.
Sorry about the Jacob rant but honestly, I can’t take it anymore with these folks. O-VER IT.

The US has become so damned “Politically Correct”, if the flaming queer Jacob were to stand there and Ululate for 3 minutes, he would not only WIN, he would be a shoe in for the nect democrat candidate for POTUS!

My main reason for posting to to thank you, silent_jonny, for hosting this thread. I watch AI as a recording, and it’s great to have this thread to follow along. Thank you.
Scotty - Love this guy. Love his song interpretations. Love his voice. Love his personality. Even the head tilt/turn movement is okay.
Casey - The talent is there, but something is missing. He doesn’t believe in himself; he keeps trying to please someone - not the judges, though.
Jacob - Can not watch him. His effeminate movements and over-dramatic facial expressions mute any vocal talent he has.
Pia - a beautiful voice and a beautiful frame standing on stage singing the same song - at least the same type of song - over and over and over.
Haley - I like her. I don’t like her. I like her singing. I don’t like her singing. I’m confused.
Naima - It’s a singing competition. She relies on other talents (or not).
James - Love to watch this guy. He’s a great performer. Blindfold me and put him in a room with other singers and I would not be able to distinguish his voice from the others.
Lauren - Growing weekly. She has a ton of talent and a great deal of potential that hasn’t been touched. I’m not sure she knows the degree of sweetheart that shows through the camera lens.
Paul - A distinctive voice. That’s all.
Thia - Someone called her performance “pageantry”. Perfect description.
