She's recovering nicely at home. We continue to put drops in her eyes four times a day, and then cover it with a patch at night.
We take her down to Madison again on Tuesday for another round of check ups.

I agree with tillacum, that was a big procedure. Thank goodness she’s had access to good medical care.
I could complain about this and that, but then I remember how much better off I am than many other folks who have much bigger problems in their lives. Thanks for asking.

I can’t help but think she is being groomed to take over for Chuckie....in his retirement which I have a feeling will be sooner rather than later.
Morning all. Home for a few days . had a wonderful trip & was able to link up with friends from forums that I have known for years on line but met for first time face to face. Long drive alone for the southern route & under the weather for trip & now. Hate HATE this weather. have about 18” of snow on ground & it comes down every day. After being gone for 3 weeks I was concerned for roof, furnace & frozen pipes. All were okay.
Jay, glad things are going well for your children. Lots of concern for you the past few years.

Lysie, glad to know you & Greg can travel & do so much more together as a couple now that he is retired.
Not gonna take it anymore , Wide Awakes is no longer in operation. Mad Ivan essentially dropped of the face of the (internet) world. I hope he is okay. Most participate at a forum called The Right Reasons. Some still post here additionally.
