NEW YORK (AP) -- Martha Stewart isn't likely to whisper sweet nothings into her dozing dog's ear anytime again soon.

Even her dog hates her.
bet the dog had to get shots after that
Geez...she called the police to get a ride to the hospital. What an elitist stupid woman. She then realized her driver was waiting for her.
Is the dog going to be okay?
Thank goodness she didn’t GET a splinter, they would have had to get a Medivac Helicopter and Obama would have had to give a speech to heal the Nation..
Fixed it.
It is a nasty gash. She has pictures of the hospital visit on her blog. There are 2 minor scratches on her face as well. These things Leads me to believe it was more than getting bumped really hard in the mouth by the doggie. What do you think?
I think one should make sure the dog’s awake before whispering sweet nothings in its ear.
What do you tell a woman with a split lip? Nothing. You already told her.
Seriously though, forgetting all of her other issues, I think Martha is one of the most attractive units out there. That’s a good thing. Whoof.
You haven't had a women in a while have you? It would surprise me since you are such a charmer.
Her dogs are small, right? My chocolate lab’s head is like a friggin’ bowling ball. He’s biffed me in the mouth with it more than once. No stitches so far.
She used to have Chows.....don’t know what she has now.
Do you mean the red spots on her nose and the opposite side of her lip? If so, I think thats just blood from the original wound that wasn’t wiped off.
I’ve been bumped on the mouth like that by my dog while playing with her. Cut the inside of my mouth but not nearly as bad as this. That was a wallop. I can understand why she requested the plastic surgeon.
Chow Chows are unpredictable biters. Never get your face too close to one.
We forget that dogs are nothing more than semi-friendly wolves that tolerate us because they get a bowl of food and a warm place to sleep. A dog in the wild will quickly adopt it’s natural killer instincts.
2 weeks ago I was shaving our dog’s hair to treat a “hot-spot” and Mrs. panax was helping me hold him down. She pulled his front leg out straight so I could get to his armpit. With lightning speed he quickly snapped at her and laid back a half-dollar piece of flesh from the back of her hand. Ouch!
Luckily we were at our son’s house in FL (both he and his wife are doctors). Our DIL cleaned and bandaged it and said it might need a stitch and to come into her clinic in the morning. Our DIL ended up putting in 7 stitches and gave her a tetanus shot. My wife pulled the stitches out yesterday. Yes, she’s a tough lady.
The point is that a dog will attack when threatened and in an unfamiliar situation no matter what the breed or how long you’ve had it. Neither one of us hold any ill feelings towards our dog because he is, afterall, just a dog.
The dog is fine.
[Thanks for the heads-up, ColdOne!]
naaaah too easy
Did the surgeon tie pretty bows in the stitches?
