After 9/11, the country came together, if only for a brief time. It was a wonderful thing to see - a silver lining in a very dark cloud. Compare that to today's tragedy. The corpses aren't even cold, and Sarah Palin's practically been indicted for accessory to murder. I think it's fair to say that on the Left, there's more anger toward her than the gunman.
It's an indication of how much more divided this country has become in the last ten years.
I think they will wipe the floor with them.
This one was just too dirty. Seeing that poor little girl die, and having these animals use her senseless death in a manner as they did to score cheap political points was beyond the line.
None of those guys are going to just let this one go.
I think your post is great!
The Olbermann/Maddow/NYTimes editorial page has been begging for such a thing as this bloodbath to happen for a long time, ever since the first Tea Party protests at least. All the focus has been on the Congresswoman and how she narrowly won over a Tea Party backed candidate and also that the gunman had non-conventional political views that are much more consistent with the extreme left, but of course the leftist media emphasizes that he also read Ayn Rand and had an interest in currency/monetary policy. I remember last year when that guy crashed his plane into the IRS building in Texas, there were similar rumblings among the left that somehow he was also connected to the Tea Partiers. Though I am not a conspiracy theory nut, what happened today on top of the package bombs in Maryland and DC seems oddly coincidental, especially when you consider that they occurred the same week that the new Congress was seated.
The left just can’t handle when the light of say shines brightly on their agenda...
This is all being whipped up by the Soros/Obama cabal. Notice as time goes, and things occur, how the vitriol has “ratcheted upward”.
Alinsky: An organizer must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent... He must create a mechanism that can drain off the underlying guilt for having accepted the previous situation for so long a time. Out of this mechanism, a new community organization arises....
“The job then is getting the people to move, to act, to participate; in short, to develop and harness the necessary power to effectively conflict with the prevailing patterns and change them. When those prominent in the status quo turn and label you an ‘agitator’ they are completely correct, for that is, in one word, your functionto agitate to the point of conflict.” p.117
A large number of people who voted for obastard are college fools and minorities. Obastard had to rely on the uninformed - youth and minorities - to win. When all is said and done, obastard is not a mainstream candidate.
Libs overreach. That’s why they fail so often.
Their echo chambers say “Hell yeah Palin is responsible! Did ya see them cross-hairs!?!?!”.
The problem, as demonstrated today is that they think that the nation is the same as their echo chamber, and that their bizarre rants will be believed by the general population.
I’m actually surprised that none of my lefty Facebook acquaintances have ran with the rants.
An interesting point: EEE noted that the symbols on Mrs. Palin’s map were not rifle “crosshairs” but rather surveyor’s symbols, used for accurate reference and not for targeting anyone or anything.
Please make sure you carry that information far and wide. The left decided to make this tragedy political and use it (a CHILD, damnit!) to slander and libel Conservatives. We owe it to that child to not allow this to occur.
Well sure if you throw out those rather large demographic groups (who will always vote Communist), leaving essentially white Christian America, then yes, we have a MUCH more unified country.
It was white Christian defectors, (largely union slobs and self-interested academics, in my locale), who put the Kenyan over the top.
“...lefty Facebook acquaintances...”

You must have the thick skin of a mature rhino and a cast iron stomach.
For my own health, and to the extent possible, I have found it best to utterly and totally avoid the Left.
Thank God for Free Republic.
Agreed, mostly.
Looking at the last election results, I’d say we’re a lot more united than we realized or were two years ago when the Kenyan had so many (enough, anyway) mesmerized with his lies and sleight of hand.
I make “liberal” use of the HIDE button. ;)
