I have had it with the media always protraying the Republican Party and its members/supporters as violent an/or inciting violence. Whats worse is that Republicans never fight back when they are asked if members of its party(Palin and Rove) and certain media (Limbaugh and Beck)are culpable in the violence. If the Republican pary lays down like it did in 1995, after Oklahoma City, I will be done giving money and support to them.
The party and its leaders MUST fight back and use examples of the other side's blantant hypocrisy on this issue. In the history of american politics, no two politicians have been maligned more by the democratic party and the media than George W. Bush and Sara Palin.
The Republicans need to point this out with specific examples and remind whomever the interviewer is that the media honored people such as the Dixie Chicks, Micheal Moore, Cindy Sheahan and Kayne West and treated them as patriots who spoke truth to power, but call tea pary members racist and violent.
The worst offender is Keith Olberman. Every time a Republican is asked if Limbaugh and Palin should bear some responsibility for what happened today, he/or she should remind them of the last 10 years of Democrats doing the following:
*The protesters who threw eggs at Bush's car during his inaugural.Imagine the outrage if tea party members did this during the Obama inaugural.
*Video of Gore yelling that Bush betrayed the country
*Kieth Olberman calling Cheney a terrorist and Bush a facist on his show.
There is so many more examples, especially regarding Palin, but tea party members and Repulicans need to bring these things up. Plus they should mention Obama's buddies William Ayres and the Rev. Wright.

I hear ya, I only put up with his snarky liberal jive (jeez, he just now said he’s often accused of being a RINO!) because of the people he often (like tonight) has on, and the interesting debate between opposite guests. For years I’d tune into Larry King for the same reason, but eventually had to give up on him as just too hopeless an interviewer. Never understood why SO many famous people (of all varieties and opinions) kissed his butt.

We need to hit them in the most sensitive part of the body - the wallet.
Take notes on what companies run commercials during Olbermans and Geraldos shows.
Write to the company marketing dept and make it very clear that you don’t do business with companies that do business with such lying loons as them.
Also write to all the upper management of the networks and let them know you are doing this.
Then cut all off all money to both the networks and those who sponsor the shows.
The only thing that might reign in the libtard media is having their funding cut off.
But did you notice that Geraldo still is talking about extremism "on both sides"?
I don't recall any violence on the conservative side.

They're going to use this to pressure the Teaparty and Republicans into memorializing this obscene healthcare law by putting her name on it and passing a resolution to give Obama complete cover for his sin of signing the damned thing!!!
They NEVER miss an opportunity, no matter how obscene or dishonest to turn even tradegies into either political cover (like Clinton with the OKC bombing) or political advantage like the things I've cited above.
The sheepish Republicans try to play the kinder, gentler card while the media come right out of the gate shouting the foulest of illegitimate accusations about Tea Party members and conservative talk radio.

Yes, of course I'm in total sympathy with those who were unmercifully killed in cold blood and gravely injured, but the course of history should not be diverted due to their self-righteous billious bellering of belicose baseless charges against Palin, The Tea Party and Conservative Republicans!!!

The public has already seen the Left smear the Tea Party and it did not work. This is going to backfire on the Dems like the funeral political rally they pulled a while back.
I hope Republicans make them sorry for trying to capitalize on death again. They have expressed no respect nor care for the victims who were shot. All they can think about is how they can use the tragedy against their political opponents’ free speech rights.

I was on another sites thread (CNN INternational) viewing their conversation. All about Palins “targets” and such. The MOD stepped in and said this wasn’t a time for Politics. The posters rebelled against that call. They were hot to take down “tea party “ people as well.
I finally posted that the only reason Loughner’s killings were becomming fast Political is because Democrates will always use anyone dying as a Political opportunity..and the Media will always fuel that...each and every time.
She must have made the idiotic assumption that everyone who is not a Leftist is a violence freak, which was particularly disappointing in that I thought she was more intelligent, knew me better than that, and was not so prone to LW indoctrination as she apparently is.
I had to repeatedly tell her that I definitely did not enjoy gratuitous violence in my viewing, and that I make no effort to watch the gore and splatterfests that are so popular today, let alone the more extreme stuff like Peckinpah's.
After the Oklahoma City bombing, Republicans let themselves be turned against talk radio and each other because the press was so full of hate and need for vengeance after the 1994 elections.
We need to fight as hard as we can against any and all false accusations and smears and defamations and hateful rhetoric.......free speech is a RIGHT......and there are some things people SHOULD hate, arguably...

I watched in horror when a left wing wacko in Phoenix was allowed to spread uncorroborated heresay against a conservative talk radio host after Oklahoma City and some Republicans were such cowards, they went along with the lynching of an innocent man...who never was allowed to defend himself......but was presumed guilty based on the testimony of one twisted witness who also believes that 9-11 was an inside job by the Bush adminstration.......
Of course...no witnesses for the defense were allowed...such as me....because the conservative talk radio host was presumed guilty, whereas listeners who were witnesses were dismissed as right-wing kooks, whose testimony was not to be trusted because...after all...you axtually listen to that hate.......being Republican and listening to talk radio meant you didn’t tell the truth and couldn’t know the truth...according to the press that believes we should trust, respect, and even appreciate them and love them! Not in this world and this life!!!!

Plus, I heard several doctors commenting on her already making progress, and a pretty positive consensus on her recovery prognosis.
Educate back, not fight. The harder someone denies, the guiltier they seem, so let’s be armed with FACTS and proof.
