I saw a squirrel just now walking in circles in the birdbath saucer..I was puzzled why there was no water..so I went out to refill..no jacket..and the water was frozen..LOL
I filled another empty one fast and scurried back in the house..I should check the weather channel more often.
Winter is here today.

I did see a pair just now..no courting yet, of course..When it’s courting time I lose the many cardinals as one pair has this “territory” I suppose.

glad to see that my favorite time of year is coming...LOL!
I can hardly wait for Spring! Running in and out
without jackets or coats, plus seeing spring flowers
and hearing the happy bird songs just renews us all.
