I don’t know if this is vaporware, or even if there is enough CPU in an iPhone to do it (probably would be in some Androids), but it is technically doable.

Hm, so it’s an integrated OCR -> Dictionary -> Translator -> Font-redisplay application.
I’ll be much more impressed when it does Arabic, Chinese [traditional], Japanese, and Korean as well.

I just installed the free version. It’s interesting and seems to work....I’m not going to buy it though so, I haven’t seen the translator at work.

I have to say I’m impressed. All that science fiction I read in my youth leads me to be underwhelmed by technology most of the time. This is revolutionary though.
