If He was p!ssed then...He won't be happy about this. i think it all depends on what man plans to do with this ability... think about how the Gospel can be shared...

Funny you mentioned the generation thing. I think the clock started in 1948. I also think the Bible mentions, all over the place, a generation is 70 years. That puts us at a limit of the year 2018.
Nobody will know the hour or the day, but we will recognize the seasons and know that the harvest is near. I think the fruit is looking pretty danged ripe, frankly. Not quite there, but it could be at any time.

I still think the outer uhhhh limit or the generation boundary is . . .
the last person alive that was alive when 1948 or 1967 happened.
just imho.
Thx.

Yep. That is why I think it is “roughly” 70 years. Interesting study though, go to bible gateway and do a search on “70” and then “seventy”.
The results are fascinating, at least to me.

As a guess (from experience as a new Android phone user) this is NOT being done on the phone. Your guess is wrong, Sionsar. This is from the developer's website:
- On-the-fly video translations
- For your on-the-go needs
- Unplugged (no internet or phone connection required)

1) When God says "Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech." who is the 'us' plural; The "royal We" was the norm for a sovereign in King James' time.

I agree, I’m almost willing to switch to an Iphone to get that! Instead I think I’ll just make my husband get it for his Iphone.

God was not mad at the Tower of Babel because people could speak to each other. He was angry because they were trying to build a tower to reach Him. In all the intervening years, if He didn’t want us circumventing His judgement, don’t you think He would have gotten angry about things like high school French classes and such?

I believe that given another 50-80 years, mankind will learn most of what there is to know about how everything works and will be able to manipulate reality with what we would call today godlike powers. inshallah
