St. Petersburg man, 19, dies after girlfriend shot him in face, police say

ST. PETERSBURG — A 19-year-old man known to neighbors as "Gold Teeth" was fatally shot by his girlfriend, also 19, after a long dispute Thursday morning, police say.

Witnesses told police they heard two people arguing at 2035 ½ 28th Ave. N about 9:10 a.m. At 9:39, they heard a shot. Police said they arrived to find the man on the dining room floor of his apartment with one gunshot wound to his face.

Police said the couple have a history of fights and they had been called out on a domestic issue within the last two weeks.

Cage and his pregnant wife sit on a couch, discussing some names they might choose for their baby. Cage is very hard to please, finding something wrong with each name -- “John” is no good, because people will make toilet jokes. “Richard” is no good because people will call him Dick.
