You’re barking up the wrong tree. I’m sure Mr. Anderson feels as you do. He, his pilots and airline staff have to go through the same degradation.
Send this letter to Janet Nappy-whatever and Barry Obama (when he’s not on a billion dollar vacation).
It won’t do any good, but what the hey.
That is a fine letter. I would cc it to Jim DeMint and any other congress people who might take action. The TSA is out of control, and it has to be stopped by one means or another. Congress looks like our best bet.
there is a prescreening...
it is called trusted traveler and you fill out an application and get a full background check and special ID card.
TSA - Touching Sexual appendages or appartus. See this gives them right. what do you expect from the criminal chief in the whine house he is nothing but a pervert. I disagree with this invasion on privacy, yet the Muslim women can walk through unimpeded this is BS. grab the woman as she walks through and tear off her burqua, you will be shocked that is actually a man. BS on the TSA they are wrong, and it is bunchof perverts.
Not a bad idea; however, Robert Hanssen and John Anthony Walker had security clearances. They went bad. A pre-screened individual that knew how to work the system could go bad too.
I will not fly. We want to go to England next year and are currently investigating ship travel. Cunard seems to be the way at this time.
I’ve come to the conclusion that the TSA must either be abolished, or, in lieu of that, seriously de-funded. We are seeing the literal “nazification” of air travel security. This will make a GREAT campaign issue for the Republicans in 2012 if they are smart enough to grab onto it (as an aside, they probably aren’t).
Could the TSA be forced out-of-business? Sounds implausible, but I think a “John Galt” solution might work.
The current nazi tactics of the TSA work because we voluntarily SUBMIT to them (I chose that word carefully). We cooperate. We accede.
The solution: don’t cooperate.
Don’t submit.
Choose to not fly.
Voluntarily withdraw from their “process”.
That’s all well and good, you say, but how have you handled that personally?
I won’t be flying again, ever.
I can say that with assurance. The last time I was on a big commercial plane was 26 years ago, 1984. I have no intention of going to the airport again.
I’ll drive, take the train, even board a grimy bus if I have to. If I can’t get there that way, I ain’t goin’. If you need me somewhere far away in a hurry, forget it — better find someone else. I won’t be there.
Atlas must shrug at the airports, for TSA to be put back into its place in a free society.
Its Obamas revenge against Americans watching FOX, for voting along Tea Party lines and for being plain white christian crackers.
Sorry, but its the bitter truth,
Want to show signs of protest?
Lets start burning Korans.
Question 1 - What was Tyner's agenda since it seems he went to the airport looking for trouble?
Question 2 - Do I want to fly with 'lightly screened' people on my plane?
Question 3 - Why does the TSA come off as incompetent and self-contradictary in the reports of the incident?
Question 4 - Why is the TSA website out of date (not installed at SD), and, why have they now upped the ante (the penalty) from the reported $10,000?
Question 5 - Why is the TSA 'investigating' Tyner? Is this more Obozo style 'Government by thuggery, threat and intimidation'?
These, and many other questions, need to be answered before this episode is finished.
