"Austria" oder "Australia" - wo ist denn da bitteschön der Unterschied? Die Südkoreaner bescheren dem G-20-Gipfel einen Mini-Eklat. Mit einem Dirndl.
Australien, das Land mit den Alpen? Und das Land, in dem die Frauen diese knallbunten Folklore-Kleider tragen? Nein, eigentlich nicht, in Südkorea aber schon. Denn: Zur Begrüßung der Weltelite anlässlich des G-20-Gipfels hatte die örtliche Stadtverwaltung Puppen der teilnehmenden Polit-Elite aufgestellt - und Down Under mit Österreich verwechselt. Klingt ja irgendwie auch ziemlich ähnlich dieses "Austria" (Österreich) und "Australia" (Australien)~~~~

I used to get confused about them, too.
But I eventually learned the difference...somewhere back in 4th grade, I think it was.

I was able to read almost all of it - that’s encouraging, I haven’t lost as much of my German as I had thought.

Don’t know about German, but soon, you (may) will have to learn an array of Asian languages and more no-European languages in Australia. I wonder if we have to do the same in Japan, for example.
