I get the same thing, so it likely isn’t anything with your system/browser.

I rarely use it and I think only once when I clicked on it did I get anything. *shrug*

What causes this and how do I fix it?

You have to be logged in as "Jim Thompson" in order to get the Activity log working. And once you get it working for you, it automatically starts working for the other 600,000 members of FR.

Boy, you're screwing the entire system up.
