I saw a Muslim guy carrying a “Death to America” sign on a bridge this morning.
He tripped on his robe and fell into the river. Being a responsible citizen,
I immediately informed emergency services. It’s 10:15 PM and they still haven’t responded!

I’m beginning to think I’ve wasted a ****ing stamp!
_____

Four guys walk to the middle of a bridge—3 guys from different countries that shall remain nameless so we don’t offend anyone from there and an American. Guy 1 from a different country that shall remain nameless so we don’t offend anyone from there yells, “I do this for my country!” and jumps to his death. Guy 2 from a different country that shall remain nameless so we don’t offend anyone from there yells, “I do this for my country!” and also jumps to his death. The American is inspired and yells “I do this for my country” and pushes Guy 3 from a different country that shall remain nameless so we don’t offend anyone from there off the bridge.

One day, Boudreaux was walking down Main Street when he saw his buddy Thibodeaux driving a brand new pickup.

Boudreaux pulled up to him with a wide grin.

“Thibodeaux”, where’d you git that truck?’
‘Tammie give it to me.’ Thibodeaux replied.

‘She give it to ya?

I know’d she wuz kinda sweet on ya, but a new truck?’
‘Well, Boudreaux, let me tell you what happened.
We wuz drivin’ out on County Road 6, in the middle of nowheres.
Tammie pulled off the road, put the truck in 4-wheel drive, and headed into the woods.

She parked the truck, got out, threw off all her clothes and said,
“Thibodeaux”, take whatever you want.’

So I took the truck!’

“Boudreaux”, you a smart man! Them clothes woulda never fit you!

Not humor, but sort of funny - definitely real world silliness......

“Critics notwithstanding, the President is on a path to be a huge success by the time of November’s midterm elections....The health care bill’s passage is, of course, the White House’s signal achievement....Obama has largely....preserved the majesty of the office.” —Mark Halpern, Time Magazine, April 2010

“You are rapidly moving from ‘The Party of No,’ past ‘The Party of No Conscience,’ towards ‘The Party of No Relevancy.’ You are behind the wheel of a political Toyota.” —Keith Olbermann, admonishing future Speaker of the House Boehner in March 2010

“Lots of buzz about the possibility that 2010 will be another 1994.... But the signs really don’t point to that....Here in my home state, it’s looking increasingly likely that Corzine will beat Christie after all.” —Paul Krugman, October 2009

“Republicans have no hope of making serious inroads into Democratic advantages in 2010, or likely in 2012 and 2014 and so on. It’s time to call TOD on the GOP.” —James Carville, May 2009

“Tom Perriello in VA, Carol Shea-Porter in NH, Alan Grayson in FL, Mary Jo Kilroy in OH and John Hall in NY all represent swing districts and have cast votes that Washington consultants label “tough.” Those tough votes, though, are paying off in unexpected ways: By bucking the conventional wisdom, the progressive Democrats have locked down support among their base and are winning over independents.” —Huffington Post, September 2010. All five of the Democrats named lost.

“With the onset of autumn, there are signs that the Republican tide is receding.... This time, it’s the Democratic base that’s stirring—and finally engaging—and the survey research is registering the shift...Maybe I’m wrong. In fact, maybe I’m really, really wrong.” —Robert Shrum, senior advisor to the Kerry-Edwards campaign, September 2010
