Dealing with Uninvited Guests

1. Ask your dog for help. The more aggressive and bigger it is, the better it is for you. When your guests come in, whisper a few words to your dog's ears so that it understands that you don't enjoy their visit much.

2. Cook meals that have a bad smell. And don't open the windows. If your guests bear this 'natural' smell, change your perfume with a very cheap one.

3. Get some very uncomfortable chairs for your guests and don't let them change their seats. When they get nervous and unable to focus on the conversation, you can be sure you're winning.

4. Disagree with them all the time. Don't agree with them even if you are sure they are right. Your guests will feel irritated and won't feel like talking anymore.

5. Clean while your uninvited guests are still there. Make them stand up and don't let them sit anywhere- let them get tired.

“What” graphic? LOL! I saw it before Amy had it deleted. She’s such a perfectionist. LOL! (and I’m so glad!) Hugs, Amy! < Center> is your friend. :)

As you can see, today is not my day! I’m not sure what the problem is today but I should have stayed in bed!

Not gonna have another one removed!!! :)

Today's devotional is beautiful and one to inspire us. How to show the presence of God?

When we know Thy Word, and the Holy Spirit brings it to mind, we are ever nudged to do the right thing, in the best way, according to His Scriptures. First we must spend time in His Word.

Do we spend as much time in His Word as we do on the computer, or watching T.V.? Few do. Do we teach our children to do so? Truth is, we often spend 5 minutes perhaps reading a Scripture.

It is the way of the world. (Not a good example to follow) We do know how ungodly the world is today, as it has ever been. Only we do not have the excuse we do not know how to read, or no one to teach us. Do we?

Father, forgive us, we know not what we do, have mercy and lead us in Thy way, help us to be a blessing to all we meet. Amen.

Colossians 1:9-14 (King James Version)
“ ...

9.For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10.That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11.Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness;

12.Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13.Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14.In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Grrrr ... I’ve been trying to get today’s Opener posted since 8:30.

I need to look at my coding ... did I not < /center > before doing the “blockquote”?

Does the font face I chose show for everyone?

I was going to put the rules in a graphic but I had trouble with that too, so changed direction. Sure didn’t do me much good. LOL

I was talking about your first one - the one you had removed. :) This one's lined up fine for me. I don't think the blockquote actually does anything unless you're using table commands and use < tr align=left> before you use the blockquote though.

I love the font face, but am sure there will be some who don't have it installed, so they'll see FR's default font instead(Times New Roman)

Great opening graphic, Billie, and hysterical list of what to do with ‘uninvited guests, Amy!

May I add one more? (OK....I’m not waiting for permission):

6. Bring every pill bottle you can find out into the livingroom. Keep blowing your nose, and coughing, and tell them you think you must have the SWINE flu! Walk around with a thermometer sticking out of your mouth, and throw a blanket around your shoulders.
