Yes, its awesome! My son just rang my phone and said “Mom, have you heard the best news ever?” I hated to confess I already knew but I did tell him I just got through posting that! He said he bet Keith O. wasn’t the only one from that goofy network that had made donations. They just haven’t been caught yet....like that “Spittin’ Chrissie Matthews”. He is as nutty as they come!

Early Monday morning, November 8th my son Jacob leaves for Basic Training, he starts his training on November 11th, Veterans Day.

Jacob told me and my wife that he is going to be an EOD
His reasoning? he said, Dad, I don’t want to kill anyone, our guys are dying over there because of these IED’s, I want to save their lives by disarming them.

That is my Son, Jacob. 21 years old and he wants to save the lives of our guys. God I love that boy and we are going to miss his presence around here so much.

He was baptized in his Church just a few short months ago and we have watched our once innocent little boy accept Christ as his Savior and his first mission is to save lives.

Please keep Jacob in your Prayers as he goes thru training which is extensive. I have never been more proud of that kid as I am today.

Thanks for posting this, Mr. Mayor! It is very touching and while I know how proud you are, it still stings hard for you!

Bless Jacob’s heart for wanting to do this for his country. Its a bigger blessing that he has given his life to the Lord and he knows the right way.

My thoughts and prayers will be with Jacob, you, and Mrs. Mayor! God Bless All of You!
