I used to work with a young gal that had the name of an ex boyfriend across the base of her spine. When she married another guy she had it made into a huge cluster of flowers. I do mean huge!
I asked her one day, "What are your children going to think when you're 80 years old"? Her answer was, "How cool there Mom is"! LOL

LOL! That is so cute (yet sad), JC."Could I just look at your dolls
If I don't touch them?"
OK - I'll let you push one in the buggy.
But, you can't 'look' or 'touch'.
(P.S. - I'm the one on the right....)

A Lasting Imprint
November 5, 2010
Caerleon is a Welsh village with deep historical roots. It was one of three sites in the United Kingdom where Roman legions were posted during Romes occupation of Britain. While the military presence ended some 1,500 years ago, the imprint of that occupation can still be seen today. People come from all over the world to visit the military fort, the barracks, and the amphitheatre that are reminders of the days when Rome ruled the world and occupied Wales.
It amazes me that 15 centuries later, the evidence of Romes presence can still so clearly be seen in that small community.
I wonder, though, about another kind of imprintthe imprint of Christ on our lives. Do we allow His presence to be clearly seen by others? Is it possible for people who interact with us to know that Jesus occupies our lives?
Jesus calls us to make known His presence in our lives to the glory of God the Father. He says, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matt. 5:16). Through the light of our testimony and the impact of our deeds of service, people should be able to see evidence of the presence of God in our lives. Is it true? Can they see His imprint?
The Christ of God to glorify,
His grace in us to magnify;
His Word of life to all make known
Be this our work, and this alone. Whittle
Let your testimony be written in large enough letters so the world can always read it.
Read: Matthew 5:13-20
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Wise words ...this is so true
We can really appreciate it.
Many is the time I have been wondering at how little is accomplished at the end of a day. Yet it seemed much ado was continually occurring .
What is the phrase ... Woman's work is NEVER done?

I dug into the archives for that graphic and poem, Geologist. When I started looking for the graphic, I thought it was an elephant. When I found it, I decided to use it anyway. After the ups and downs of Tuesday, I felt like that poem. LOL
That age-old phrase ... "Man works from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done."
A lot of mine stays undone. :)
Wishing you a fantastic Friday and a Blessed Weekend.
