What an appropriate opening for today! (Especially since most of us were up quite late last night!)

Yes, mom’s do SO much - and guys don’t seen to ‘get it’.

Hope everyone is resting up, and happy (mostly) with the results of the elections.

It is a very difficult decision whether to help these people with money or food.

I usually try to refrain from giving them money. If the will accept the offer of food, I gladly go to the nearest fast food and get them something to eat. Most of the time, they don’t want food.

A local radio personality interviewed some of these people standing on street corners a few years ago. Several of the ‘homeless’ told him they make $30,000+ per year.

I'm on a real downer this morning.
I had hoped that California would wake up to what the dim bulbs had done to our state. No Hope.

Local talk radio host is giving Californians hell today.
He is saying that the state employees should be ashamed of themselves
for voting to insure they are taken care of by the taxpayers.

Hope I feel better tomorrow.
If not, I may look into moving to New Zealand. LOL

I am feeling rather joyous and let down about the election returns. One, I am VERY glad we took over Congress. But, I a VERY unhappy about four that were elected in (or retained their seats): Bawney Fwank, Barbara Boxer, Jerry Brown and Harry Reid.

I could not understand how ANYBODY could have voted for those four - after all the damage they have done/are doing/and will do to our country - and our Constitution. I just don’t get it.

I got into a conversation with a Liberal friend last night, who is glad we at ‘least still have “O”!!

I told her what we need now, is a cohesiveness in our country - by both parties working together. And, I told her I doubted we could do that, when our PRESIDENT calls Republicans “ENEMIES”, and says “Republicans can join us, but they must sit in back”.

She immediately went on the defensive - calling John McCain and Sarah Palin names, and I reminded her - I was talking about the POTUS - not a Senator or X-Governor. We did not end the conversation on a plesant tone - and even though she has been a good friend for over a dozen years - I doubt we will ever talk much again. I feel sad, yet confused. How can ANYONE think “O” is going to bring our Country together? SIGH.

I’m fixing potato salad and baby back ribs for dinner tonight - and then I am going to watch Chef Ramsey. LOL!!!!

I met Lt Col Allen West at the FR convention/Tea Party in DC last September. What a wonderful person. I was very impressed.

You are lucky to have him as your congressman. I probably still have liberal Jim Costa. :(

I have mixed emotions this morning. I feel Bah Humbug about Socialist California.

I don’t know why we can’t even elect a Rino in this state. Harry Reid and Babs (Call me Senator) Boxer ... why would anyone vote for either of these two?

Maybe we will all feel better in a few days. I think most of us are suffering a 'hangover like feeling'. I am thrilled about all the wonderful things that happened but was very disappointed over some like Harry Reid and Barbara Boxer, "please call me Senator as I worked so hard to get that title." And to think those people would vote for her!! They are all nuts. I don't care if they ever get jobs with the attitude they have.
