Bulgarian Archaeologists Stumble Upon 8000-Year-Old Skeleton

Bulgarian archaeologists clearing a plot for highway construction have come across a Neolithic home and a skeleton date back to 6000 BC.

The Neolithic Age home was discovered close to the village of Krum in the Haskovo District by the team of archaeologist Boris Borisov, who are excavating a plot designated for the construction of the Maritsa Highway going to the Turkish border.

Says it's a disabled kid between 10 and 15 years old.

Says limbs were close to the body per burial "ritual"???? Sounds wrong...but implies it wasn't some kind of accident where he would be sprawled out.

THE OLDEST MEGALITHIC ARCHITECTURE IN BULGARIA are the mysterious stone tombs-DOLMENI, from the year 5000-4000 BC

They were to be found all the way from the Island of Britain to Kaukas, and from Scandinavia to Africa.

The oldest one found in Bulgaria was in the East of Rodopi Mountain, near the village of ‘Octar Kamak’- Haskovo

I have always found it interesting that when you are intentionally a digging hole looking for “something” that you can STUMBLE onto “something”. Anyhoo, good link Fred, but, IMO, really bad photo.
