I’m glad now that NY won the last game to bring this back to Arlington.

The fans deserve to have the series win at The Ball Park in Arlington.

Congratulations Rangers!

My two favorite teams are the Angels and whoever is playing the Yankees. And there’s a lot of former Angels with your Rangers.

Used to go to the ballpark and watch Frank Howard swat them out for the Senators...like Michael Young said; a lot of those people (fans) have been waiting a lot longer than he has.

Just about fifty years, Michael...finally; a World Series.

Now that the Yankees are out, I’ll watch the Series. I’m a National fan, but would love to see the Rangers go all the way.

Well the Rangers are the Washington (Senators) once-removed, so a Nationals fan should be able to cheer for them.

I saw one of your Nationals down at the market last Saturday. He lives in the neighborhood in the off season.

Red Sox fan here, thanking the Rangers for eliminating the Yankees! “These young Rangers players are making the Yankees look old”—Jon Miller, ESPN radio

I used to watch Frank Howard swat 'em when he played for Triple A Spokane. Dead center field fence was 411' and the ball was still climbing when it went over the fence on one of those occasions.

OOPS!! I meant to say National LEAGUE!! I’m from Boston (married NJ) and am still a Sox fan, but my favorite team is the Mets. Up or down, I love them.

The come-back of the RedSox in the play-off games with the Yankees, in ‘04, has to be the most astounding series of games ever! They overshadowed the WS itself.

At first, I couldn’t find the game on radio last night so thought maybe it was a rainout, but then found ESPN had moved the game to a sub-station. What a blast, even listening on the radio!!!

w00t w00t!!!
Haha.

I had to listen to game 5 on radio at work.

Sometimes I prefer baseball on radio

NLCS game 6 starting now. Of course SF wins it’s all over;
PHI wins and game 7 takes place tomorrow night
ALCS/NLCS ping

Where I work energy-efficient lights (at a HUGE post office
facility) make any radio a challenge to hear. I heard some of it live on breaks; some of it I heard by going to a radio we had set up at edge of building (and I have tried mini
FM transmitters—they don’t work anymore) and I did have an AM-FM cass mini boombox set up to tape and hear much of the game back later.

Poor FOX...the ratings on the upcoming World Series are going to stink out loud because those damn Rangers took out America's favorite team, the New York Yankees. FOX will lose billions; thanks to those SOB's in Texas.

My impeccable source for this are the Yankee fans posting at ESPN. It sucks to be you, FOX. NOBODY will watch the series unless the Yankees are in it. Nobody.
