Last night I read an article by Dr. Paul L. Williams. In the article Dr. Williams states that the Obama adminstration will give $4 billion of our tax dollars to the UN Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and malaria. That's a 38% increase over other years. They are dreadful diseases, for sure, but at a time when many people are unemployed is that wise?

It looks like I was correct on the expiration of an EO being rescinded by a subsequent president. I assume a super majority is 2/3rds or is it 3/4? Well as far as defunding is concerned, I'm not sure it matters if an EO doesn't require funding in the first place. I don't see where EO 13489 would require any funding, unless it takes funding to bar people seeking to reveal his records to the American people.

Obviously he has something very incriminating to hide from the American people who voted for him and didn't vote for him. I wonder what he is hiding?

I want the next real president to rescind that thing and expose him. And then I want the entire CRAT party to be held accountable to America for doing that to us.

I asked my Congressman about deleting ALL of the muslim’s EOs and he told me it was up to congress. I told him hopefully congress would delete them all.

What a picture day, nary a cloud in the sky, kinda cool meaning not hot, not cold. Am getting ready go and watch TJ play soccer, left footed and all. He loves school and is progressing so good in his class, think he might be teachers pet. Caleb is a whole new story, wide open all the time and a pawpaw’s boy being he is home while TG is in school.

I woke up early this morning already tired out. Thinking I need a bowl of grits to get me up and going.

Time to get started on getting ready to go, like it will take me more than 3 minutes.

Well, I was wondering what a super majority was defined as to override an EO, because a super majority in the Constitution to remove a president from office in the Senate is 2/3rds of the members present, but to ratify an amendment is defined as 3/4 of the states.

Thank you for posting the picture of your Hero dad and the other hero veteran of WWII. Thank THEM, too, for me for their service.

I had a great uncle stationed in North Africa and a 2nd cousin w/Patton who served then too. My uncle survived the war, but unfortunately, my cousin lost his life in the Battle of the Bulge.

3 cousins (brothers) also served in the US Navy: 1 as a gunner in the Navy Air Force; 1 in a Navy submarine; and 1 on a Navy destroyer.

Our extended family thanked God that they all survived.

The Presidency is a very strong office, hence 'the most powerful man in the world.'

From what I understand about it, the Prez cannot issue any E.O. that contradicts current law (because he's sworn to uphold the Constitution and laws). If he does, that's impeachable.

I think the problem with E.O.'s is when they are used to create new law by fiat -- i.e. they don't contradict anything because no law yet exists for the topic.

Congress can make new legislation any time they want to contradict the Prez (except in areas where the Constitution specifically gives the Prez the nod), but here's a question: Have any E.O.'s ever been rescinded because Congress legislated the other way? I don't think so...;-))
